Ditto! It's hard to find quality affordable products for supper oily skin. Thankful for you Casey... you take the guess work out of alot of product. If anyone's having large pores issues I just tried the Olay Charcoal Stick Mask....I'm so impressed. My press are sooooo much smaller. Which helps me control the oily.
I’m sure it’s a pain to scrap a look and start over, but I love seeing it because that’s real life! So many shorts just show product after product and everything is “stunning,” “obsessed,” “10/10”… but that’s just not realistic. Appreciate you!

You are not alone! I have had to remove my makeup when mixing certain concealers that did not mix well. You try to save it, but eventually it is best to take it off and start over!

Fellow rosacea gal here…and the struggle has been real! My aesthetic PA put me on a metronidazole cream and I’ve just started laser genesis treatments and wow!! Has made a WORLD of difference. Might be worth checking into! Love these videos ❤️

Your rosacea never made me think of Lupus for u. It’s always there sometimes a little lighter but that’s ur skin since the beginning of your UA-cam
Can you try the new Revlon foundation and/or the relaunched Loreal True Match foundations? Love a good drugstore product! Also really enjoying you being back on UA-cam doing traditional beauty guru stuff, old school style. You surprised PS me when you used the pinks ! It looked really pretty. You did a look a long time ago w/ a deep orange eyeliner & it was amazing. Since we have very similar colored/ shaped eyes I knew I could try it for myself. U r the reason I finally got brave & started using more than neutrals & brown eyeliner. I still love my neutrals though !

Did you not like the Haus Labs foundation? I'm so surprised you took it off! It's one of my favorites and covers my rosacea beautifully. I mix it with the KVD one now and again, and it's even better! The final look is gorgeous either way, tho!

the one concealer that burned under my eyes is the maybelline instant age rewind and I was so shocked. that's why I first try concealers on my arm first because it is not a good feeling at all and I was a bit traumatized bc it took me by surprise lol.

I always love and appreciate your videos Casey. Our skin types seem so similar, down to the redness, sensitivity, pores, etc! I have rosacea and have had it since I was in my mid-late teens. It has its ups and downs over the years. I had a lot of success with a dermatologist years ago, but haven’t been able to go in a while. Lately my skincare has somehow been working pretty well for me and it’s tamed down quite a bit, surprisingly! But I have been asked by many people over the years, including several doctors, if I have lupus. I was tested for it once in 2012 and once in 2022, both times due to separate health issues at the time, and both times negative. But since I’ve been battling some chronic illnesses the past couple years, a few of my specialists (including my rheumatologist and a physiatrist) said they’ll likely keep testing me periodically. They said on occasion, some autoimmune disorders can pop up later in life, which I was unaware of. I always thought if you have it, you have it! So it was interesting to hear you mention it.
I could SO relate when you were suddenly feeling product reactivity because I can often feel PRETTY QUICK when my skin is NOT happy with something. It is soooo frustrating, especially when you’ve got a full face of foundation and concealer on and feel like you’ve already gotten so far in and that it’s like… now I gotta start over, irritate my skin MORE with friction to remove everything, and figure out WHAT was irritating my face!! I’ve even had it happen with skincare stuff that seemed TOTALLY meant for my skin.
The haus labs foundation gave me contact dermatitis. I broke out in a rash on my face and neck where I applied the foundation. Never had that happen before with a foundation. Needless to say it went back to the store.

So happy you tried haus labs foundation. I have been wanting to try it and since you didn’t love it and we have similar skin I’ll probably skip and try the makeup by Mario foundation instead!
