For all those grasshoppers out there, you don't even need a 4WD to go to Cape York. There is a perfectly good, graded 2 lane road all the way there these days.

As long as none of them break down, my money is on:
1) Disco.
2) Jeep.
3) Terrano.
4) (Spoilers) Delica.
But if the Disco and Jeep start having mechanical issues (because Land Rover and Jeep), the Terrano could easily come out on top.
If this was 4WD 24-7, they'd be winching out the first 2 water crossings! You guys are bloody awesome. Love the builds.

I've Lost Count of how many times I did that trip in a Fully STOCK '89 Pajero. It never ceases to amaze me; how they make it look so hard! My Dad and I put the "Chicken Track" through back in '94 to avoid collisions with driver ls coming the other way.

Those Dometic air swags ain't cheap, damn! $899 for 2 person. 🤪 crazy, budget my A**
Fair call mate but most inflatable swags are around that price point and we wanted to minimise how much stuff we took. e.g. ground tent + pillow + mattress + sleeping bag wouldve taken up more room

Most people probably didn’t realise but Ally is obviously a diabetic as I see her sensor on the back of her arm. Have to say it’s really inspiring to me as a dad of a 10 year old girl who was diagnosed this year as a T1D. We were worried this might hold her back from getting out and adventuring as she has always loved doing so again it’s just very inspirational and reassuring to see someone like Ally get out there!

most distributers have a breather hole in the bottom. Drilled out the breather hole and fit some tubing- one to the inlet side of the engine air filter, the other side to the cabin blower outlet side. the blower pushes clean dry air thru the distributer and has kept it going when the hood is under water. Used to foul up distributers every year from moisture till i did this mod
