Love how the two instruments work in harmony in this track. The electric guitar shows that Richter is impulsive, inexperienced, and maybe a little hot-headed, but the violin still denotes that within him lies the nobility and honor of a Belmont.
Not only that, While the violin shows his sense of justice and heroic nature, the guitar shows his strength, power and determination, for he is one of the strongest Belmonts to have ever lived.
He always wanted recognition and glory, so much so that he was mind controlled because of it, but it is safe to assume he left a big mark in history. Not just in his universe, but video games in general. Long live Richter Belmont!

Richter was such a cool surprise; his inclusion made so much sense in a "the developers are actually Castlevania fans holy shit" kind of way

Richter's moveset is the main basis for the special moves - so I think they actually made him FIRST, and then made Simon as a throwback

This song perfectly encapsulates all of Richter's characteristics. The violin shows his heroic and noble aspects, while the guitar tells you the power and determination he has in him. Finally we have the Strange Bloodlines part, which shows his inner bloodlust and desire for battle and glory. As Dracula said, every human has inner, selfish desires within them, even the Belmonts. It's awesome how the song tells the story of Richter without lyrics, a true masterpiece. Still sad that they don't include the Rondo part of the song, though.
You know, I never realized that his behavior under Shaft's control was just an accentuation of that last trait.
I cannot wait until Alucard fights mind controlled Richter in Symphony of the Night

I remember when he got announced with Simon... I was brushing my teeth to go to college and seeing the trailer at first I was very excited to see Simon in the game, but then I said "Damn, i was so close to get Rich..." And then his scene appears and then I just went crazy

What I love about this remix is that it's inspired by the Portrait of Ruin version which is itself takes from Divine Bloodlines and Richters boss fight from Symphony of the Night n known as Blood Relations. Clean remix and also bonus cause it's the theme of my main :)

As someone whose favorite linear CV game is the OG Rondo, the inclusion of Richter along side Simon out of all the other Belmonts was literally the first time I had ever been absolutely giddy over a Smash reveal.

I honestly would have liked this version a lot more if it was complete. It’s Bloodlines Bequeathed from Portrait of Ruin because it’s missing the second half of the original theme.
Since Konami seems to be giving a bit more love recently to the games that made them what they are (rather than stupid pachinko machines), I'm hoping that it means we'll hear more tracks from the games in the next Netflix series. Sadly only "Bloody Tears" was used in the last series (though the creators hinted that it was due to rights being ridiculously hard to get).
