Shine On Sampler is the project that got me back into cross-stitch after 30+ years. I stitched it monogamously. Bless my little naive heart! I *chose* 50 WIPs for 2024, and left the other half 🤣 in UFO until next year. I have had FUN since February 2021, and I plan to just keep stitching what I love. ❤️
Stitch what you love and enjoy the process. If you don’t enjoy it, it becomes a chore and not a hobby. Loved all the WIPS and the Book of Days. I record what I stitch on as well and it’s super fun to see what all I stitched on throughout the year. Might adopt the color code though as it isn’t something I currently do.😊
Wonderful start to a new year of floss tube. Enjoyed seeing all of your WIPs. Can't wait for the felt stitching inspiration. Chalkboard, stoney, creek, Do Is Do, Foxtrot , castle, Alpine, Feathers.
Oh Nichole… continue to give yourself grace… you are so talented… it is work in progress to continue your growth in your vision… love your honesty! Also; i like your idea of the Lizzie Kate ‘rules’ stitched piece added to a bag😉
Such a fun flosstube! I love your no rules philosophy! You do you! Your WIPS are beautiful! When I started back up stitching thanks to you, I did mostly 14 count. I joined in on your fall SAL which was a 25 count. I have now graduated to 32 count. So I fully understand your progression to 36 and 40 count. I hope my eyes will eventually adjust to tiny stitching but I’m happy nonetheless getting to 32. Loved your gift from Jessica! It was so thoughtful and thought out. I’m anxious to see you finish your decorating your record keeping book. Also can’t wait to see your felt stitching! Thank you for being the special and sweetest person you are! Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, Castle.
The year of Possibilities, I like that; it is interesting how we change and grow in the world of Cross stitch. I like the months of December and January. Stoney and Creek are nice colors.
You've inspired me! I haven't thought about cross-stitch in years. When i was pregnant with my oldest, i started stitching the cutest Noah's Ark for his nursery. He'll be 20 in March and it's still not done. Maybe I'll finish it this year and put it away for a grandchild someday.
I think in memory of December I will find a place by the Creek and shake my tail Feathers. I will do a Do Si Do and even the Foxtrot!! 😂😂 I love a WIP parade! Very inspiring!!
I really enjoyed your wip parade! I look forward to the ornament tutorials! How fun the plans you have for the planner! What a great way to use it! You’re so creative! I would love to finish a project you started! How fun that would be! I’d love to stitch either December or January! Thank you for the opportunity!
Loved this video! Some really beautiful projects ahead. Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, creek. Definitely understand how you need to let some projects go, and stitch what makes you happy. It’s a hobby, not a job.
Thanks for showing how you decorated your book of days. I'm also a scrapbooker and didn't even think to decorate it like that, so now I'm excited. Looking forward to your Valentine SAL. stoney, do si do, castle, feathers
What a beautiful and kind gift Jessica sent to you❤ she seems so very sweet! Love all of your wips and I remember each one!😊 Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, Creek
Always a joy to watch you, stoney, December is my birth month, January is my daughter’s birth month, I loved playing in our creek growing up. Loved seeing your adventures from Jessica, what a sweet friend!
What an awesome video, I love how your choices change, I don’t feel so bad now knowing I am not the only person that preferences change. My kids grew up with a creek on our property and they loved getting dirty daily! Boys! Great video!
I love watching your videos while I am stitching. I just started stitching again after a 20 year break. I have never stitched on anything but Aida, but would love to try linen so I would be grateful for Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, or Creek.
I liked your wip parade. 😊... Sometime in DECEMBER or JANUARY I would like to stitch a STONEY CASTLE by a CREEK on CHALKBOARD fabric. 😂😂😂 🎉 Happy Stitching. I going to set up my planner. Thank you for the inspiration. 😊
I too started a bit too many in 2023 so this January I want to finish as much as I can and continue that so by December 2024 I will feel less overwhelmed. I have started a ton of Valentine’s stitching so may have already strayed from my plan. Lol. Happy 2024🎉
How exciting to have a chance at finishing one of your WIPs! 😍 I enjoyed this video and I love how you used the Book of Days! This year I’m trying assignments for each month, too! I think that it’ll work for me! Can’t wait to watch your progress on your assignments. 😊 CHALKBOARD DECEMBER JANUARY CREEK
Oh my goodness! I’m overwhelmed by all your stitching. I should go back through my spreadsheet to see how many cross stitch finishes I did in 2023. I’ve tried several different kinds of chalkboard fabric but struggle seeing the holes even though I like how the colors pop on the dark fabric. I’m super excited about the upcoming SAL but panicked when I couldn’t find the fabric. Thank goodness for the internet… I stumbled on the Stoney Creek site and promptly ordered the fabric and necessary floss. I just hope when I finish stitching, it doesn’t sit in my UFO box to be fully finished for over a. year!
You have so many amazing things to work on this year! I would definitely enjoy seeing you jazz up your Book of Days if you are able to squeeze that in somewhere. ☺ Looking forward to the Valentine SAL! 💖💘 Stoney and Creek
Thanks for another great flosstube and all you share for the community. Love a WIP parade. Chalkboard - Stoney - December - January - Creek - Do Si Do - Feathers
December, January, Creek, Do Si Do, Feathers, Castle, Alpine. I'm so excited to spend the New Year stitching with you--I love all your WIPS. I did the Sled Reindeer Sleigh Rides SAL with you and I don't want to put it away, turned out so cute!
Thank you for another great floss tube - love love love to see what color fabric you choose for projects. The Book of Days, that is awesome how you are setting it up. Can't wait to see the rest of the pages! Chalkboard Stoney Creek
STONEY CREEK sounds like a nice place to visit during the holiday season! I think you will love keeping a record of your stitching in your Book of Days. This is the first year I've used this and have been keeping a record as well. I am even adding the amount of time I stitch. I'll either be amazed at how much I finished in *that* amount of time or I'll be amazed about how long it took me! I'm guessing the later. Happy New Year and Happy Stitching!
What beautiful work you do. I like that you are taking out the black fabric and using more of a charcoal grey as it is much prettier and really shows up the stitching. That book of days is lovely and what a great idea to keep track of what you are working on, etc. Bet you will be surprised at the end of the month when you tally up all your wips, finishes, etc. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful work with us. I so enjoy seeing it even though I can't stitch anymore. If I do stitch, like on cards, it is someone very special that I do it for as my RA hands can't take much. Sending a hug and thanking you for all you do.
I’m not able to stitch on black but find I can on chalkboard. I enjoyed yourWIP parade today. I find December and January difficult to focus on new stitches. Thank you for all you do and have a great stitchy week. Stoney
Hello Nichol, thank you so much for your wonderful inspiration! I am very similar because I almost had remorse until I finished my stitches in the past! Enjoying much more this time around thanks to your channel! Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, creek, do si do, feathers
I just found your floss tube 2 weeks ago. I love all your projects and especially like how you show them with the flosses flat instead of holding them up. It really makes it easier to see. Just beautiful work and now Ill have to go back and watch all your videos from the start. Looking forward to the next one.
I loved today's parade. You've inspired me to dig out a few projects I have as well as one or two new charts to grab. I liked your choice of charcoal and may try something by stoney creek or castle on chalkboard, either in January or sometime by December.
Great start to the new year. The Book of Days is a super way to track stitching. Love the January stickers and would like to see the December ones, too.
You have so many beautiful WIPS to choose from to work on. I have started the Hands on Design Chalk Squared charts this month. I’m excited to stitch all of them so that I can display them. Looking forward to seeing your progress also! Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, Creek

I really enjoyed your WIP parade. I have one WIP that I need to monogamous stitch so I can get it done. After this stitch is FFOed, I am looking forward to getting started on the stitching and sewing projects that I want to do this year. Some are gifts and others are just stitches and sewing that I want to do for myself because they speak to me or bring me joy. Looking forward to seeing your felt project as well. Happy 2024!
I am so glad I found you! I am so sad Christmas is over it was thanksgiving then boom Christmas was over! but so glad you are going to continue Christmas all through the year!!Love everything you do! Chalkboard, Stoney, December, January, creek

Chalkboard, Stoney, December, and since my birthday is this month, January. I'm always so happy to see a new FlossTube and you are amazing at keeping up with everything and card making too!! I loved your Advent gifts - what a sweet and wonderful idea! Happy New Year and I'm looking forward to the next video from you!! XOXO
It's really fun when you show projects that were stitched in different sizes. Christmas rules would be a great project bag especially for the little Christmas rules chart. I really loved the stitched zipper pull. Can you show us how to finish one? In your spare time lol
Just finally listened to your video from beginning to end. Enjoyed it very much. The chalkboard and stoney would be used for sure but love the December stitching. I'm just getting back into cross-stitching again and enjoying finishing some of my projects that have been packed away. You are inspring me!
Nice treat to find your floss tube when I got home Enjoyed your WHIP Parade I use to stitch 1 item at a time, and also quit stitching for about 20 years I still have the last 2 items partially stitched that I would like to finish Castle
Well, yes it is time to get organized and I agree with you about using the plan or more as a record. I like that idea. Well if I had a chalkboard I would have started in December and continued in to January. If I only lived in an Alpine castle near the stoney Creek, I would be doing the foxtrot and the do si do 😢
Love all your WIPs. The chalkboard project is so lovely. I just love the Stoney cloth and would love to finish your December or January projects. I just love that creek fabric too! Yes, I quilt too. Do Si Do is adorable! Love that foxtrot pattern as it would be so elegant in my castle against the alpine mountains with bird feathers falling!
Enjoyed your parade and the chalkboard charts January and December are lovely. The quilts and cross stitching are cute including foxtrot, castle, feathers, creek, castle and alpine! Stoney and do si do too
