I always love watching your flosstubes! The love you have for each piece of your stitching just makes me smile😊. I'm like you when it comes to a series like Early Americans...do I stitch them individually, as a whole, or in small groups? I hate not being able to make a decision, so that's why mine still sit here unstitched as well. Apparently, this is a "thing" 😂. Looking forward to Part 2!
Wow!!! That’s a lot of wips so far Michelle. But like I’ve heard…you can’t finish something if you don’t start it. 😅.. can’t wait to see part 2. Have a great day
Love seeing all of your WIP’s! I would love to stitch the trio of Santas from Heart in Hand. You mentioned that the pattern was featured in a cross stitch Christmas magazine. I would love to find the pattern if you have more details such as the month and year of the magazine. Thank you so much!
I love your plaid alphabet, every time you show it. I finally ordered the pattern and plan to make them for my grandkids this year. I had to restart One Nation too. I had the wrong orientation. Haven't made much progress since restarting. Looking forward to Part 2. Thanks for sharing.
I've stitched Farmhouse Christmas 2x1 on 20 ct aida and it ended up the size of a cushion, which was perfect. Great video, Michelle, loved seeing your WIPs. Any chance that you might give us all a tour of your craft room one day? 💜
Love this!!!! I cant wait for part 2. I love your stitching. I laughed so hard each time you asked yourself "Why this was not done o worked on" I talk to myself also when I go thru my stash.
Loved your video. You mentioned a soft black. FYI I used a charcoal black Aida for the 12 days of Christmas stockings. The colors didn’t pop at all. I changed to black Aida and I love it.
I love so many of the patterns you work on and have several of them too! I have This is The Day and haven’t started it, but maybe I’ll bring it to the retreat next week and tag along with your start 😁Great video!
Michelle , Vonna made a Prarie schooler tree topper a couple of years ago I wouldn’t doubt she has a tutorial too! Isn’t she just the best! Watching in segments as I work😂 love all of your projects as always😊 pine pollen I do not miss from when I lived in Georgia! Nasty on your sinuses! 😢
When I first started stitching in the 80’s I used a hoop. At that time I worked on one project at a time. Then when I came back to stitching in 2020, I found Flosstube and started having more projects going at the same time. After watching Pricilla Blain with Stitching with the Housewives and Kimberly Jolly at the Fat Quarter Shop stitching in hand I found the solution to having a hoop or frame. I still stick and stab (because I like my stitches better) but it’s way easier to cart around your project without all the bulk of a hoop. I think the Fat Quarter Shop may have a tutorial on stitching in hand if you are interested.
I stitch two handed, and even if I don’t have my stand, I still stitch two handed. I’ve tried stitching in hand, but my tension just isn’t as good. I am amazed at those that use the sewing method!
I always enjoy seeing your WIP parades, you have some really beautiful projects!!❤❤

Oh I love your videos. You make me laugh when you are debating with yourself about how you want to stitch a project!

Hi Michelle, I believe Roxy Floss Co. Has a soft black fabric you wanted for your 12 days of Christmas. Hope this helps.
I will check them out!!! Thanks!!!
Great wip parade. What do you do with a pattern when you have finished the project? I have so many.
💟☮️
Fun Video, cool tags, and yes you need to get back to a bunch, 😉
Every time you say "why haven't I finished this", I reply in my head..."I can give you 129 reasons". LOL
Love seeing your WIPs!!! What count fabric do you stitch your Plaid Alphabet ornaments on???
I’ve used 14
Count for all of them.
Thanks so much Michelle!!!
