I'm learning more about this and it's very exciting. One thing I've learned about AI gen images is copyright protection is not awarded to AI generated content. You can use these tools, but the less you use them to make choices for you, and the more you 'artist-in' and do the work, the greater a chance of creating something commercially viable. Also something worthy of copyright as an original piece of art.
Great point. Yes doing “inpainting” on an image and adding your own artistic touches goes further when it comes to copyright and licensing protections. Also when you prompt for images, avoid using brand names or known IP in your prompts. I was just having a conversation about this today with an AI group. Thanks for commenting!
It took me about 15 days to make, some days were a couple hours, other days were 8 hours. I was learning the workflow as I went which meant I made mistakes and had to go back and do things over. The character consistency and animation gave me the most trouble only because I could go down a rabbit hole and keep generating all day. Eventually you have to make a choice and move on. Then just when I’d be done a new tool would come out and I’d be tempted to try it out and see if it can do better. The discovery aspect was fun but time consuming. I’m going to be more disciplined in that on the next one.
