I don't see it as having a different meaning so much as changing situations in the world reveal that the truth of this song represents the reality of the world, much like "Zombie" is eternal. In either case the shifting tragedies of the world are well described by these songs.
Old...really. ? Led zeppelin sounds better n newer than all pop for last 20 yr. But stairway is most played song ever on radio. Music is timeless. And getting worse with time.

I totally agree that the live version is better than the recording and doesn't Sharon looks so beautiful (as always!). Speaks volumes about their talent as a band as they are still releasing music now. I remember hearing this song when I was 16!
I am taking my mummy to see them at the O2 in London in November! So excited and for my mum it is her very first music concert too! Eeeek! :)

I intend that bc the usa is now officially under right wing dictatorship; its neighbors must stand fast to defend against his right wing fascist party.

As much as I love the genre of music, I always end up thinking of all the hard work the sound engineer had to put into mixing and mastering it. Its hard enough working with a symphonic orchestra let alone getting both it and the metal band playing over it to sound good at the same time. Getting a good live mix, the sound check must have taken hours lol.
What's your point? The more different instruments will always increase the complexity of mixing. More anything requires more organization to work. So what? That's a fact of reality from the beginning of time capt. Obviously stupid. It means nothing other than the sound ppl must equal the talent of those they record. And I doubt they complain bout their pay or credit... so what is your point?
