    ---------------Littel information about Video------------------
The Intel 8051 microcontroller is one of the most popular general-purpose microcontrollers in use today. The success of the Intel 8051 spawned a number of clones, which are collectively referred to as the MCS-51 family of microcontrollers, which includes chips from vendors such as Atmel, Philips, Infineon, Analog Devices and Texas Instruments.
Some of the features that have made the 8051 popular are:
4 KB on-chip program memory (ROM)
    128 bytes on-chip data memory(RAM)
32 bytes devoted to register banks
    16 bytes of bit-addressable memory
    8-bit data bus
    16-bit address bus
16-bit timers (usually 2, but may have more, or less).
3 internal and 2 external interrupts.
The AT89S52 provides the following standard features: 8K bytes of Flash, 256 bytes
of RAM, 32 I/O lines, Watchdog timer, two data pointers, three 16-bit timer/counters, a
    six-vector two-level interrupt architecture, a full-duplex serial port, on-chip oscillator,
and clock circuitry. Also, the AT89S52 is designed with static logic for operation
down to zero frequency and supports two software selectable power saving modes.
The Idle Mode stops the CPU while allowing the RAM, timer/counters, serial port, and
interrupt system to continue functioning. The Power-down mode saves the RAM contents but freezes the oscillator, disabling all other chip functions until the next interrupt
    or hardware reset

Hey these videos are realy nice. Ive been using al sorts of microcontrollers but the 8051 always was in the background of all things. It peaked my curiosity so i decided to get into it. It seems to be very popular in India. you dont hear about it here in the US ver much. it looks simple, easy to understand, and still quite powerful. Thanks for the hard work you put in the video. I appreciate this. Thank you.

very nice! i'd arrange ISP pins as the programmer pinout and connect power to the mcu in order to plug and use also UsbAsp and avr programmer

From my initial testing I never got USB asp to work, but anyway I have left ISP pins on PCB.
If you are interested here is another video on 8051 programming using Arduino as AVR programmer- ua-cam.com/video/8255_CHE5gE/v-deo.html
