It's the glowing squid. But the deep sea isn't without monsters. One way to tell if these a monster nearby is pay attention to the glowing squid. They will scoot away from any monsters, and may even go dark momentarily. This will be yohr signal. What can you find in the deep sea? Before you reach the buttom. You may find dungeons, floating massive ruins of unknown, sort of like a floating island, expect underwater. There, you'll find strange mobs and loot. At the very bottom of the deep sea ocean. There will be strange plants and a lot of drowneds. There will also be ores, and volcanic activity that expel hot gas that heats the surrounding water. Maybe not blackstone coz that’s a like nether exclusive and there wouldn’t be much point to go to the nether to get that block if you could just go to a mountain and just obtain it from that, deepslate/ cobbled deepslate tho 100%

tbf, starting from 1.13 to current; the devs have already been updating old stuff (even 1.15 though in a more technical side which often goes underappreciated), cave update is pretty much gonna be updated regardless of it being a meme or not.
@@blitzkrieg47 bro same :(( i remember way back playing at 1.7.10 and was so happy and hyped for the 1.8 update. minecraft rn is crazy and im loving it
Don't underestimate the new lighting rules. It's just for ease and being intuitive. But you still get a 70 mob cap as per usual. Meaning mobs are a lot less spread out and spawn in packs. So you get more chances to get mobbed on by hoards of monsters if you leave one spot of a cave unlit.
I think there might be a way to make natural disasters within Minecraft’s development rules (it shouldn’t be unavoidable). It’s 2 words: global warming. Basically, what I’m thinking of is if you use enough coal and other fossil fuels like lava buckets, and I mean like a MASSIVE amount of fossil fuels, for perspective, replace the end island with double chests full of blocks of coal. That’s how much you would need to even start the global warming process in your world. Heck, maybe even more than that. Or you could also have some sort of storm repellent block, similar to lightning rods. Anyway, this could be a way to introduce natural disasters like flooding, volcanic eruptions, acid rains, and tornadoes but still be unavoidable. That way players can understand the importance of clean, renewable energy sources by adding in solar panels and wind/water turbines (maybe even removing redstone and giving its electrical properties to copper, that way it can be more realistic and make sure there’s no easy way out... (or maybe redstone is just the equivalent of nuclear energy, I guess that would make sense idk)). It also kind of fits with what Mojang has been doing recently. Pandas, dolphins, axolotls and bees have all been added into Minecraft to raise awareness and teach players to be environmentally friendly irl. Why not do the same with climate change? After all, it is becoming a real problem nowadays. A company as big as Mojang taking a stand can really help slow down or even stop global warming in the future.
this new updade is THE BEST. EVER. it is absolutely perfect and the amazing Mojang workers that slaved over this are LITRALL GODS. It was all SO worth it. The waiting and everything else.
I think i remember mojang saying they are working on a mechanic that makes it impossible to block up on it or remove blocks you placed to get away from it

Maybe manhunt is cool, Maybe intense pvp and Wars are cool, but the moment when the minecraft soundtrack start playing and you watch this awsome view of caves and landscape. It really shows why minecraft is a game the we love❤️
@milk supremacy its called ✨preferences✨ some people enjoy the humor and action and enjoy the game's mechanics being exploited to survive increasingly odd situations and if you dont like it, thats fine! Thats why its called ✨preferences✨ it doesnt mean that you should go around bashing other people for what they like though
@milk supremacy Well, I guess when you have nothing to do you either do some writing or calligraphy while listening to the manhunt, or you simply get so bored to the point you just analyze the whole thing.
I'm getting emotional oh god I've been playing for 7 years. My older Sister showed me how To play when I was little, It was the night of a school christmas party. I created my first world, I would play everyday. I did everything. 7 years later Here we are, the game still continues. I absolutely love it and the excitement of the community makes me So happy💛
What I'm excited for is now you can have giant underground cities in beautiful caves without 50 hours of mining and terraforming. I can't wait to get into a cave like at 12:00 and start building.
Like, the only way to teriform a massive area before the minecraft update you had to get a beefy computer and a Terriform progam. Either than that and Amplified mode or just being plain lucky (Note, there isn't a amplified mode on PE and Bedrock soo....) You cant get any cool world generation. But with this update, all you need is a bit of fixing and BOOM! A perfectly beautiful cave area. And just imagine the ideas, like a massive underground axolotl pond. Or a mini mount everest with full working camps. Heck, Even a massive chinese based shrine ontop of a massive mountain. The possibilites are not only endless, but more accsesable with this update. And THAT is what im excited for :DD
To philza, that part with the beached shipwreck, it could be that, lore wise, the shipwreck was washed ashore by a very powerful storm surge and was just, deposited there. I mean. It happened to this ship in Port Royal back when the city was pirate hub and that earthquake happened. A ship from port royal's harbor was washed ashore and deposited straight onto a house in the middle of the city. Something similar could of happened here.

@@mrpr3d4t0r isnt lightning a natural disaster
@@toasterpenguin3781 ya now lightning can destroy your builds
@@toasterpenguin3781 lightning rods actually makes it were lightning strikes in that area

What I'm excited for is now you can have giant underground cities in beautiful caves without 50 hours of mining and terraforming. I can't wait to get into a cave like at 12:00 and start building.
you'd be lucky if you only had to do 50 hours
