some neat details about the new weapons,
the firestarter can cover enemies in pollution so they burn even if they arent in fire so they are basically actually on fire, AND THIS INCREASES YOUR DAMAGE, from all sources i believe. or something like that.
the jumpstart nailgun, when using its alt fire, shoots faster, i think, also shooting nails into the target increases electric damage.
sawwed on shotgun can interact with magnets when punched with knuckle blaster ig? this isnt too secret lol.
Few days late ik but tbc the fire from firestarter specifically does not increase damage from other sources
@@kingcalibur413 i looked into it. the wiki says “husk enemies take 50% more damage from all sources but the fire tick damage it self”, either i misunderstood that or, the video didn’t clarify that.

Gabe 1 is much harder than gabe 2
Gabriel on the first encounter teleports much more, throws that spear almost instantly and the stage is super cramped
While in heresy there's a much larger arena, he doesn't teleport that much, and if you keep your distance, you can very reliably parry his projectiles

You can double tap tab to bring up time, kills, and style info and keep it up! Very useful when replaying levels, though iirc it doesn’t work on the first time a level is played and isn’t beaten.

Enemies like the ranged Guy[i forgot his name but he only shoots 1 hell orb and appears in prelude] can predict where u Go, like If you constantly Dodge their bullets dashing to the left, they'll shoot their orb slightly more to the left.
Fav part of this update is the slab marksman buff. I dont know exactly how it works but from my experience shooting 4 coins makes the gun instantly reload. I use slab for everything except flesh prison anyway but its still nice to get a little buff.

also maybe not so useful tip: whiplashing drones (if you can even aim at them i still haven't tried brutal) and hitting them with the knuckleblaster to use them as bombs to kill the rest somewhat works better than spamming shotgun swap projectile boosting, worked for me well in violent, i fucking hate drones
