Hike the Xiaocuokeng Histoical Trail, cross the mountain to Jiufen (Ruifang, New Taipei City)

I participated in the teacher-student historical trail hiking activity organized by Yanping High School and visited two historical trails and one mountain: Xiaocaokeng Historical Trail, Liulang Historical Trail, and Xiaocaokeng Mountain. This is a route where you can take a train to go hiking. From Houtong Railway Station to Ruifang Railway Station, you can also enjoy delicious food in Jiufen Old Street at noon.

Houtong Railway Station → 40 minutes → Trailhead → 15 minutes → Fude Temple → 25 minutes → Xiaocoukeng Settlement (visit time about 15 minutes) → 15 minutes → Mountain God Temple → 15 minutes → Crossing the Ridge → 2 minutes → Xiaocuken Mountain
Crossing the saddle → 25 minutes → Songde Park → 15~20 minutes → Jiufen Old Street
Songde Park→30 minutes→End point of Liulang Historical
Trail (Liulongjiao)→50 minutes→Ruifang Railway Station
The whole journey takes about 6~7 hours (including breaks and lunch)
【Public toilet information】
There are public toilets at Houtong Railway Station, Houtong Visitor Center, Jiufen Old Street, and Ruifang Railway Station.
【Traffic Information】(Traffic Information)
★Public transportation: It is recommended to take the train to Houtong Station.
★Driving by yourself: It is recommended to enter "Houtong Station" on Google Maps satellite navigation. There is a parking lot near the station.
