Not the case in Hawai’i - the difference I think is the reggae stations that play this music out there. If there was a reggae station or two on the mainland they might blow up in a low-key way.
I lost a good friend of mine this past week. He took his own life due to a courageous battle with depression. He just received his masters degree in communication and was a social worker, as well as a Local University counselor. I hope he is at peace with no more pain, but the biggest thing is I hope he found his paradise. Love you Teddy ❤️

I've found my paradise. My beautiful wife, my kids, my awesome friends, and my awesome neighborhood. I thank God every day for all I have. It can be ripped away at any time. I'm glad I found this band. For years after I have felt so alone and worthless. All this misery and feeling like I was missing something. The loss, the heartbreak. Just trying to be able to understand what this all means, fuels more sadness within a kind soul. I started to let my sadness and fear of change, control me. Made me feel sick. I decided to just listen to music for a while and I ultimately landed here on Stick Figure and it reminds me of the good old days, and to remember to create good memories in the future.

Fell in love with this song and Stick Figure, just found this video and is the epitome of my life right now. I’m currently living in Portland Oregon (can’t wait to see them May 22 crystal ballroom) my former paradise that’s been destroyed by legal hard drug use and homelessness. I had the joy of meeting Kevin from the band when he was visiting our hotel. I asked what he did and said he was in a band ...upon first listen to Stick Figure I was hooked and huge fan ever since.
