I hope they add in subfactions within the 4 big factions like RA2 and Generals with special units. It should significantly introduce even more playstyles which I feel is lacking in Vanilla RA3.

We're finally getting a commando for the Celestial Empire! I've been waiting for this since "Corona Devs Talks VI B". There was a question in the video regarding what position the commando would fill, and I had a couple ideas: 1. Naval Infantry Niche: Inspired by "Sunsetting Billows", I imagined that the Celestial commando would be an infantry unit that would be a pain to deal with in the water. Due to her riding on swords that technically float over the water, she would not be targetable by torpedoes; we can also give her sufficient speed to evade cannon fire from other ships if properly microed. Against enemy ships/tanks/structures, her attack can be to lay down a sword array to create a coronal explosion; something similar in damage to Natasha's bombing call, but with less range. This essentially makes it an artillery attack that can't be intercepted or dodged. If supported by lotus lanterns, she can also send her swords into the water to stab at and damage submarines. Lastly, her special ability can be to root herself in place and temporarily become a heat laser turret, similar to the base defense; however, her beams will be similar to that of the Chongming interceptor in that they primarily focus on melting/destroying artillery that enters her range; maybe give it a similar amount of interception ability to that of 2 Chongming interceptors. In this way, she can be a menace that gets around the standard defenses employed by most naval ships while also functioning as an anti-artillery interceptor that protects the Celestial navy. 2. Infantry back line DPS: This version of the commando plays into the idea that Celestial infantry all have special technical body armor. I'm imagining that she would be able to use her eight-trigrams hat and visor to look through the eyes of nearby infantry. In gameplay, this could translate into her having a special infantry-connect radius; her default attack range can be that of a blaze trooper, but her actual attack range can be extended to utilize the combined attack range of the other infantry units within her connect range (including herself). For enemy infantry, she'll send her sword-drones to pierce them, essentially being a sniper attack that one-shots them. For enemy tanks/ships/structures, once again have the sword array to coronal explosion attack, but scale down it's damage to something a t1 or maybe t2 tank would do. As a special ability, she could cause a sword rain that drains the power of all vehicles in a good-sized area, disabling them while also damaging infantry; basically some kind of EMP artillery attack similar to dropping shock troopers that have their electric field on, over an area. In this way, the celestial commando can be a unit that significantly boosts that attack potential of infantry-based ground armies, with her special ability as a way to somewhat force opponents to engage said army with their own (inferior) infantry instead of vehicles. 3. DPS scout tradeoff: An interesting idea I had regarding the commando plays with the idea that she has a limited number of swords. I was thinking that, by default, she could have ten swords; eight that she can use for attacking and one on each foot that allow her to fly around quickly. When engaging an enemy infantry unit, she will send one sword to pierce them. When engaging an enemy tank/ship/structure, she will send four swords to set a sword array that results in a small coronal explosion. Her special ability can be to plant one of her swords in the ground or hovering above the water to reveal stealth in a short radius and vision in a larger radius; it might also be pretty fun to allow the Alkaid Suborbital Defense System to bombard the area around the sword from anywhere on the map. These swords are not stealthed and can be destroyed by enemies similar to how lanterns are; furthermore, swords can have the special ability to self-detonate. The fun part of this idea comes with how swords are used. When in combat, the commando will try to use all available swords in parallel. If she has all 10 swords, this means that she can attack 2 tanks 2 infantry units, 1 tank 6 infantry units, or 10 infantry units simultaneously. If given a move order with enemies still in range, she will use two swords to give her mobility to carry out the move order while the remaining ones can still attack. If a sword is planted, though, she will have one less sword to use until that sword is destroyed or self-detonated. I'm thinking that she should be able to have 6 swords planted before her special ability can no longer be used; that way, she'll at least have 4 swords left to fight/move with. This can also be paired with the idea that when above water, she'll always have two swords under her feet even when standing still, giving her less firepower there. I understand that this is a very technically-challenging idea to implement, but it would be cool to have a unit like this with such dynamic damage potential and utility depending on how it's used. These are just some ideas I thought would be cool. I'm really looking forward to when the commando is finally implemented!

Shogun Executioner is too much for any mod, it's super ridiculous! But Giga Fortress, yes! It must make a comeback as Empire's epic and be stronger than ever!

Sea Fortress mode will have additional torpedoes and the small multipurpose guns seen on the Tachi Cruisers. It's air mode will have short ranged AA missiles and the guns, basically never engage it with T1 Air superiority units (Jet Tengus, Apollos, etc). It's massive laser can target large air units as well (Kirovs, the Celestial MCV, Harbingers gunships and the upcoming epic units) like in REMIX mod.
I am fascinated by the idea of a heli that is capable of damaging subs as Russia does not exactly have an early end anti sub or a sort of cheap anti sub option. And hold the heck up, Epic units? I thought stuff like the harbinger and the giant tesila fortress tanks were the epic units but we are getting actual epic units? I hope they aren't potentially one sided as CnC3's kane's wrath because the MARV kept winning out interms of overall use.

I think you already kno question - nope. Just because mod devs don't want that anyone could stole their models, textures and sound, so they encrypted main mod file. So, only launcher can decrypt it.
Someone send these guys a comment in billibilli suggesting they look at a game called Universe at War and the faction Hierarchy. Super units were their whole gimmick and while very effective it took time to build them because of buying each hard point and when destroyed left them vulnerable. I'd say it's a good way to implement super units wit counterplay

Well, it will be interesting to look at the epic unit of the USSR. It will be interesting to know what epic unit the Empire of the Rising Sun will have? Will this be a new unit or will it be a reimagining of Shogun Executioner from Empire' campaign?
I think Empire's epic unit would be Giga Fortress since it is its epic unit in most mods (Rejuvenation, Remix, The New World, Epic War). Idk, Shogun Executioner seems off even in the vanilla, I can't even imagine what it can be turned into within all those mods.
The Slava class doesn't fit with the aesthetic of the game, it needs a visual redesign like the Union tank: - The Rocket launchers should be more integrated into the general shape of the vehicle. - The Helicopter could be redesigned into a flying drone. - Overall, it needs more rounded shaped armor and sci fi design.
It fits well enough with the other mod units. Dreadnoughts don't have fully integrated rocket pods either. Also soviets already have tons of cold war era stuff like helicopters, it doesn't really stray from the theme to have more. Could be a fun upgrade for it to have Tesla turrets in the front but otherwise it's fine.

4:20 not a fan how 3 dedicated AA units cannot kill a free unit before it shoots them. RA3 AA always has been bad, but I urge you to reconsider to heavily reduce range and health.

Hi dev , i think standard/ordinary king oni should has passive ability to make it more tough like 40% change to deflecting enemies range attack and reduced its damage by 40% or permanent autorepair, because he should be come closer to punch his enemies. King oni X really awesome 👍🏻

Also the king oni x does seem pretty powerful now, what will be the primary way to counter it? Aside from artillery that is.

It fits well enough with the other mod units. Dreadnoughts don't have fully integrated rocket pods either.
Also soviets already have tons of cold war era stuff like helicopters, it doesn't really stray from the theme to have more.
Could be a fun upgrade for it to have Tesla turrets in the front but otherwise it's fine.
Give anything to the chinese to upgrade, somehow they will make it better and cheaper!

Hi dev , i think standard/ordinary king oni should has passive ability to make it more tough like 40% change to deflecting enemies range attack and reduced its damage by 40% or permanent autorepair, because he should be come closer to punch his enemies.

If I understand what your question is, the Stock Celestial MCV can pack up without upgrades. If you upgrade it, whenever you pack up, the weapons you gained appear.
