Overall I'm optimistic. My only nitpick was that I always envisioned Lex as being older. I know Nicholas Hoult will probably be very good in the role, but I just prefer my Lex to be a bit older, presenting intelligence through experience. I was skeptical initially about Krypto, if it's not going to be too childish having a superdog. We'll see. I love Gunn's Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, but in those I really enjoy the edgy humor the most. Here, with the different tone, I'm curious how he will do.

"Reset to classic" Funny thing is..Snyder used elements from over 77 years of Superman comics , while modernizing Superman. And using the classic theme from Donner is the wrong move..each Superman should use new themes..and add more great music to Supermans history. Each vibe used so far over Supermans movie history is fine. This new Superman movie is a hard pass for me. Snyders Superman saved kids saved army guys..saved him mom and risked his lif 3 times to save all of humanity .. Snyders Superman wasnt "emo"...he was shown have himan feelings and showing perseverance ..I can tell you guys dont no Superman from the comics. Abd you arent even using the word emo right. Sorry..i had to dislike. Snyder gave us an optimistic Superman. His Superman was the first successful Superman movie in 26 years.
