    I have a home-made boom pole for my 8N. It works great to lift logs, etc. I unloaded a scoop bucket from my pickup truck bed last week. A good attachment to own, for sure.

    The boom pole works really well on the Ford. That sickle mower that you lifted was a cool attachment, it looked like a horse drawn one

    I have a similar tractor (641) and that same boom pole. I installed rear remotes and a hydraulic top link.
    GAME. CHANGER.
    As good as the pole is with the standard turnbuckle top link, with the hydraulic, it really shines. Same goes for the 3 point rear forks I have.

    Be very careful when carrying stuff the front wheels try to come of the ground. The boom pole that came out when the tractors was new was called cranes.👍🚜🚜

    I really like your headlights! Are those correct on a Jubilee? Are they LED? Maybe if the housings are not correct for a Jubilee could the bulb assemblies fit? Thanks. Beautiful Tractor you have!!

      Ben- not sure if the headlights are exactly correct or not. They came with the tractor and yes they are LED

    Was the black horizontal bar you removed before installation a "drag bar"? What is it used for as I see it on lots of tractors but usually with just a tow ball installed? Thanks!

    • @nelsonridgefarm
      @nelsonridgefarm  4 місяці тому +1

      Well, Hello There Ben. I haven’t watched this video in a while but that was probably the ‘draw bar’ which is designed to help you tow things with the tractor at the correct height.

      @@nelsonridgefarm Thank you. If you ever need some surfing or SCUBA diving tips, let me know! I just purchased my first tractor (Jubilee) and so am trying to learn everything I can about how to use my tractor. That boom is the first economical implement I have seen and I have never seen one before and I can put that to use right a way. Thank you!!

    I have a 641 Ford tractor would this boom raise high enough to load a 100 pound propane cylinder into the bed of a stock height Chevy 4x4 bed?

    • @nelsonridgefarm
      @nelsonridgefarm  10 місяців тому

      Interesting question sir. I’m thinking it might. I guess I would try to look for a little homemade ‘loading dock’ type area where I could get the truck bed backed up as low as possible with the tank and tractor a little bit higher. I’ve also used a little ‘come-along’ to get deer and things a little higher to get in the back of my stock Chevy 4x4.

    Jib cranes are very dangerous if your not carful of them they tend to lift the front wheels of the ground on small tractor you either need front wheel weights or a counter weight on the front of the tractor have seen tractors stand up high with no weight on the front of the the tea 20 Ferguson was bad for it and also with a ripper on the arms ripping ground up to
