    100 YEARS OF HEARTACHE
Every time the clock strikes midnight, I can count another day / every time I see the sunlight, I know I’m one less night away / one less night of counting midnights, all alone in my lonely bed / I’m coming home, the end is in sight, yeah, I’m coming home /I’m gonna rest my head, rest my head / and a 100 years of heartache are over now /a 100 years of heartache, I made it somehow / every day I walk with strangers in a world where I don’t belong / empty actors on hollow stages, like a singer without a song / but I can hear the music, late at night in my lonely bed / yeah, I hear such sweet music and it’s calling me to come home / and rest my head, rest my head / and a 100 years of heartache are over now /a 100 years of heartache, I made it somehow / some things are never over / no, some things just come ’round and ’round again / some things are never over, but sometimes, some things really end / and a 100 years of heartache are over now / a 100 years of heartache, I made it somehow /a 100 years of heartache are over now

A great song . The live version he did on UK radio (I think radio 2?) was much better. I stil llike this version with the horns etc but I think the acoustic version had a better vocal.
