#quiz #quizgame #whosangthesong
This "quiz" got more answers wrong than I did. .Strawberry Fields is The Beatles.
whole lotta shakin was jerry lee lewis not fat man that fats domino
Exactly
Absolutely correct
Jerry Lee Lewis did NOT do "FAT MAN" that was Fats Domino!!! Jerry Lee Lewis did "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going on"!!!
Even though I was born in 1972 I grew up listening to 1950's rock n roll and country music as well as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Good memory 😊
Yea, she got that wrong for Sure!
I got more right than they did. Rod Stewart did not do knock on wood
Eddie Floyd 1966
I think the closest he got to that was maybe Twisting The Night Away.
Amii Stewart
I scored 100%, but the lady giving the test scored 96%. I assure you there were at least 4 (maybe more) questions on the test that she gave the wrong answer, not to mention several missed pronunciations of the correct artist's name. Many artists she mentioned were actually dead before the song in question was recorded. I'd prefer a 20 question test with difficult answers...this became too long and boring. You can just call me a music genius !!
Well, that's gals for ya😂
Yes
The 1979 version of Knock on wood was by Amii Stewart
Yes, and that makes only 8 that I missed. Some I guessed at because I knew the more known artists suggested never recorded the songs done by more obscure artists. I aced the Disco era because I loved, loved, loved the Disco Era.
lol so did I but not very good on country seems to be mostly USA hits but still got 81 right but agree with ami Stewart and Jerry Lee Lewis answers so would be 83
I know rite?
I agree the song Knock on Wood was originally done by Eddie Floyd but the Disco version was done by Amii Stewart and not by Rod Stewart
@@patrickryan1515 I got 8 wrong too, mostly the blues questions. Not that well educated in blues.

The song 'The Fat Man' was actually recorded even earlier.
It was recorded in 1947, by Fats Domino.
Confirming it was Amii Stewart with Knock on Wood. I enjoyed your quiz, thanks.
Thank you!
86 out of 100, Strawberry fields was the Beatles. 81 years old helps to do this quiz.

@@terryaustin5976 That's when I quit too.
Abba
I got 70 out of a hundred the bonus answer is the beatles I done better than expected
I got 96 correct counting the ones you got wrong; but I think you should make the choices more relevant eg quoting Vera Lynn as the composer of some blues song verges on the ridiculous. Why not do a quiz which relates to references in songs? For example why does Marc Bolan say ''Meanwhile I'm still thinking.'' at the end of Get It On? Or why does Elvis sing the lyrics ''a hunka a hunka burnin' love '' at the end of his song Burning Love? Or which record is considered to be the first original British rock hit? Never mind. What a useless life I've led full of this inconsequential information. :) I used to present a music quiz live in Cyprus and for one episode I used famous intros played live and the crowd had to guess the song just from the intro.
98/100 Beatles
Fun quiz.. got 89 right
Thank you 😊 Well done on your score 😁

No 21 Little Darlin by the Gladiolas was released in 1957 and how can it have been mistaken for the Beatles?
It was released by the Diamonds not the Gladiolas or the Beatles.
@@marshallvanstee4777 the original was by the Gladiolas having been written by their leader singer Maurice Williams. The Diamonds version is a cover
@@andrewhudson8966 I stand corrected. Thank you. I had seen the Gladiolas perform it, but somehow confused the Diamonds version with theirs.
The Beatles were still at school 😂
Someone needs to relearn their music history!
