    This was more informative for small stucco patches than all of the other videos I've found from the stucco professionals. Thank you for making this video.

    Newbie here, I have two corners with the exact same size in this video,also same type of damage. I was just getting ready to make a 5 gallon bucket of mix and then I stumbled on your video. I really appreciate all the details, you've saved me a lot of time and resources, which I can now take back. Thank you!

    This is what I needed to know, if I could mix it by hand and do small patches. Great. I noticed you didn't even need to wet the wall before, as I saw notes about the existing stucco drawing too much waster from the fresh one etc.

    Use lot of this stuff I use a fine red float 5 minutes after I apply the patch feathering out center to the edges works good but using this rapid stucco patch it drys fast can't wait no longer then 5 minutes to start feathering everything out being stuff sets up faster then 20 minutes from what the instructions say.

    I was asked to touch up a wall that had company names all over it. I removed about 120 letters total for four monument signs at the street . It’s like 1/4” holes all over it. And some letters were left on the signs. Kinda worried to Jack it up it’s my new boss. I’m just a maintenance guy and my main trade is electrical

      just use this quickset stuff fill in dozen holes or so then follow back with damp spong off before it sets up- it does set up fast so dont get to far of yourself until u go back with sponge or stucco sponge over ur fill ins

      basic cheap drywall pan and 4-6 inch knife all you need nothing fancy stucco tools are more advanced to use - this quickset stuff you just add water then work it over knife or damp sponge before it sets up, no need texture just fill in holes - then primer is must over new stucco before paint, kilz2 latex go to primer all stuff

      Mor-Flexx is a good caulk designed specifically for stucco. If you have hairline cracks you can probably fill them with an elastomeric paint.

    Hi, is any bonding agent needed before applying stucco?

    • @drywallrepairman
      @drywallrepairman  8 місяців тому +1

      no there is polymer u can roll on but not required small repairs polymer for larger wall skim and stuff

    • @drywallrepairman
      @drywallrepairman  8 місяців тому +1

      there's a polymer glue it's white that they sell in the cement Isle of most home improvement stores but you really don't need a polymer for small repairs but they do use it for bigger holes it's used in tile mortars cement stuff like that it just gives it a better stronger PSI rating so it doesn't crack as easy with the polymer glue
