Our Loki has evolved a lot because he had Mobius to get him there. Sylvie hasnt changed. She’s been on her mission since day one, thinking that if she kills the person doing this she’d be thrown on her timeline and live happily ever after. She hung to that for so long, nothing else exists. Just like it was for Loki and his quest to rule.

Sylvie didn’t think she was going to get back to her timeline. If that’s all it was about she would have taken Miss Minutes deal. She flat out wanted revenge for the TVA kidnapping her, killing her whole family and ruining her life. She also wanted to be able to stop running from them, and having to live in apocalypses, because that’s got to do something to your psyche. She had a goal, and she achieved her goal, and I love her for it.
@@Drummer4President we don't think it could have happened any other way and we empathize with her 💯. But Our Loki is not wrong either. This is bigger than them both. It's understandable that she could not get there with him but we see both sides equally. It's a tough spot.
@@Drummer4President she would have never taken the deal from Miss Minutes because she wanted to kill whoever was responsible. Just like she tried to do in front of the timekeepers, but turned out to be fake. But after killing, what was she expecting to happen? To find what she lost? To reintegrate some sort of timeline to live on? That still didn’t happen. Her glorify purpose was not fulfilled after she reached her goal of killing who was in charge.

Loved this show, LOVED this episode! There was a lot of talking (exposition) but it was all great and necessary. Majors, Loki and Sylvie blew it out of the water, and then Rennslayer, Mobius, and B-15 held up their ends quite well. All your reactions are dope. That jump scare at the beginning with Miss Minutes... eff that clock lol
Also should add that is absolutely amazing that they started off a decade of MCU on a Disney+ show. Kang and his varients are going to run the show more than Thanos ever did.

"sylvie is the most loki of them all" that's exactly what I've said ever since... This show played with us like a fiddle,... Even Loki swore she was different and the superior version but she's just like all the lokis. At the end of the day, our loki had the most growth, but sylvie didn't, making our loki the real, superior Loki.
I just really want Tom hiddleston to win the Emmy award for His amazing and awesome performance for Loki.
My theory… It’s important to realise that the timeline started branching when they crossed the threshold before sylvie stabbed him so it was Loki and sylvie being there together that created the threshold and branching not kangs death so Kang knew that it didn’t matter if he dies now because it was too late

The difference between Loki and Silvie is Loki has always had love whether he knew it or not. But he has also had to take a hard look at himself and in turn has been a healing process during this journey. Silvie on the other hand had none of that. She was scorned and hurt as a child. She has had no healing whatsoever.

Sylvie kissing Loki was part of her scheme to push him away. She *is* a Loki. The writers did a good job of showing (our) Loki being broken. He saw himself as he was, especially in the void. He just didn’t want to be that. It rather matched Thor’s breakdown except Thor gave up (for a time) , and Loki is still trying to do something. But he is in breakdown territory. Wasn’t majors fantastic? That was a “major” exposition dump but he made it watchable with his evil Willy wonky way.

The Multiverse was always present. The Sacred Timeline is comprised of the Multiverse. This series was telling us that from the very beginning with Miss Minutes explaining what the TVA is and what it does and with all the Loki Variants--there's only one Loki per universe. We were reminded one more time in this episode with He Who Remains and his story predates the Sacred Timeline--the Multiverse was here before the Multiversal War and it was here after the war too.
He Who Remains is afraid of himself, remember? While he might not have been the scariest version of himself, his variants are him and he's capable of doing the same things they were capable of doing. This is true with everyone, really, and this show was showing us that with Loki and his Variants.
Kid Loki, Boastful Loki and Classic Loki are as much Loki as 2012 Loki is. First of all, they all have the same shared story, and we got confirmation on that when they were sharing their Nexus Events. We didn't even need to see them, as we knew exactly what they were talking about as they are things we've either seen or heard about while watching Loki's journey in the MCU. Even Kid Loki's Nexus Event can be confirmed with Thor's dialogue in Ragnarok (ua-cam.com/video/3LoRg-uHDHA/v-deo.html). The prank didn't end badly for the Loki we watched, but it certainly did for Kid Loki. Alligator Loki, Classic Loki and even 2012 Loki knew Boastful Loki's Nexus Event was BS because that wasn't their experience.
Variants can differ in appearance, skill, powers and temperament, but not story. What's more, Varaints are all doing the same things at the same time, He Who Remains told us as much when explaining his story: He and his Variants discovered the Multiverse simultaneously.
He Who Remains realized that he and his Variants were destroying space and time. He wanted to preserve it, and the only way to do that was to do what he did, and what he did was use Alioth to wipe all of his Variants out. He consolidated the Multiverse and looped it--the opening montage was the death and rebirth of the Sacred Timeline. At the edge of known time is the Void, where he left Alioth. Alioth is there to make sure time does continue past that point. The end of known time is most likely sometime in the 30th Century, as He Who Remain is preventing his own birth, which takes place in the 31st Century. The Sacred Timeline is a condensed, manageable patch of time, but it's only as good as the mechanics holding it together. He Who Remains, the TVA and Alioth, so in the end I guess there really were three Time-Keepers.
The Multiverse itself is Variant. Every universe is an imperfect copy of its neighboring universe, and we see this with Loki and his Variants and heard about it with He Who Remains and his own Variants. Variants are different by definition, and that's typically okay, but in order for the Sacred Timeline to work as designed, all universe need to stick to their fixed scripts, as going off script results in Nexus Events going beyond the mechanisms keeping the Multiverse tethered together. The real danger, however, is all Nexus Events lead to a future beyond the end of known time, and that leads to Kang.
He Who Remains is Kang, but Kang in his epilogue. He won the war and reigned for a million lifetimes. He's tired. Loki and Sylvie had past his tests and he had hoped that they would be willing to continue his work, but alas Sylvie wasn't having it. Phase 4 is going to have to deal with the repercussions of Sylvie's actions and likely her redemption, and the key might be them racing to find the version of Kang they killed to help him stop himself.
I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

Yes we know. We were referring to Kang's presence in the next phase of Marvel. The phase folks casually refer to as the multiverse. The set of films. And the fact that we were surprised Marvel introcduced him in a TV show. We're good and up to speed on the rest. Thanks for watching!

You ladies have been saying, "Loki's only been there a couple of days", but you have to remember, "time is different in the TVA". Loki's been studying and working with Mobius, so they've had time to develop a friendship.
I love all the Marvel Disney+ shows because they have time to develop the characters and relationships, unlike the movies.
