Outline of the beard is not only really close to the jawline (too close), but all that "this product will allow us to see the line while shaving" and he shaves it uneven AF (he did manage to clean it up off camera before the end, making the beard so close to jawline now it's practically a chin strap.
Dude, you could be an ASMR star. Your mannerism and voice are so soothing, make your own videos, you'll go far. Love these hidden gems. Need more views, you'll be very popular. Peace.
Come on people, of course many of these shaving steps are not necessary - but it adds to the experience for those willing to pay the price. Old time barbers work for some people, not so much for others. Not all people fit under the same umbrella. Furthermore, going to an old time barber he is likely to use an aftershave splash with contains high amounts of alcohol - which is fundamentally detrimental to the skin. Granted, it serves as an antiseptic - but it is known to damage the protective barrier to the skin as well as stimulating oil production at the base of the pore (that's the last thing you need if you're prone to acne or any other skin condition). I am not saying not to use an alcohol splash if that works for you - but the science is totally conclusive with respect to the effect that alcohol has on the skin. I would agree, however, that most of these modern day barbers are taking the whole barbershop experience a little too far with so many services and products on offer. Any shaving gel, foam or cream will do the job in reality and it certainly doesn't need to be an expensive experience either.
BIASED..you know WHY! But the old guy on Route 66 can put his OWN skin cells & sweat on the blade sharpening strap and APPLY that blade to Harry but GLOVES are off putting?..yeah 👌🏽 ok
years ago I used to visit an old style barbers owned by a real Glaswegian character, this pretentious crap would have him spitting out the woodbine hanging out the corner of his mouth,
Can stand these mincey beards. My beard looks like i've been on a fishing trawler for 6 months and it looks awesome. You don't need all these products.IMO
Been shaving with a straight razor for years... Majority of these additional products is just a money grabber....very unnecessary to add all that extra product...... Also - the line isn't even straight... Dude should be ashamed of himself
This shave is more like salon kind of thing, not a barber shop shave........the results are not clean and crispy.......lots and lots of cream and butter and moisturizing, but the neck line ~~~~ and cheeks same thing ~~~~~~ everything but refine lines..........👎👎

Neckline is about 1 inch to high in my opinion.
Jordan Massey cannot stand pencil thin beards like the barbers
Jordan Massey I'd agree.
agreed, i hate when men's beards trace their jaw. should be about 1.5-2" above the adams apple

oh god, that neckline is awful.
Bad neckline....
why would you use that many products just to shave a god dam beard just shave it off ...
If the barber didn't those products in question, how else would a client enjoy his shave at the barbershop?
When you become old enough to finally have a beard, you try shaving with no products see how your skin turns out .
He didn't say use no products he said that many products aren't needed. When you learn to read maybe you'll learn reading comprehension also.
That's gotta be the worst shave I've ever seen.
there is no reason to put gloves
Benjamin Thompson
There is no reason to give a rebuttal over nothing.
just sanitation and bloodborne diseases, other than that, no real reason.
Lie barbers...
