    Nothing like some good snake cooked over a campfire. Well done video, looking forward to checking out more of your adventures.

    Very nice footage. I'm doing Ridgeway to Hallton as an overnighter with my son in June. That campsite looked amazing, but I think we'll be staying on an island around Portland Mills if its doable.

    Awesome video. The drone shots and the way you edited them with the music was great.
    The tarp setup at the end was pretty smart. Looked like a fun trip.

      It’s been so long since I’ve been on the Clarion I don’t remember much about where we started and ended but I do remember that it was an awesome river with amazing camping. Definitely recommend it. When we were driving from the town of Clarion to Cook State Forest last year we noticed lots of outfitters near the river and it was a very pretty area.

    Never been on the clarion. How many miles did you guys do?

    • @jasonwish-
      @jasonwish-  6 років тому

      We only did about ten miles over the two days, but I'm sure you could do ten miles per day easily if not fishing like we were.

    Thinking of doing this run. Was that first campsite near Arroyo?

    • @jasonwish-
      @jasonwish-  5 років тому

      It was a great run, we wish we could have went all the way to the coast. I am not familiar with arroyo, sorry. Our first campsite was approx. 13 miles down from zig zag landing.

    • @jasonwish-
      @jasonwish-  5 років тому +1

      Sorry, I was thinking about the Edisto River in S. Carolina. Yes, I believe the first site was close to Arroyo...probably a little before. It was one of the best sites we saw....on river right. We took out at Halton I believe. Have a great time!

      Anybody watching this video for trip research - the first campsite was at a spot called Irwin Run. It's 18 river miles from Ridgway and about 9 miles from where these guys started at Portland Mills.
