tbh. i do kind of agree with the "negative thoughts can cause cancer". it doesn't cause cancer but it does kind of make the chances of the patient surviving lower. patients thta have positive attitudes or positive thoughts usually have a higher chance of surviving, but it also depends on the stage of cancer the patient is in.
Put Piers Morgan, Laurence Fox, The Vegan Activist, Katie Hopkins, Lady C, Kim Woodburn, George Galloway and Peter Hitchens in a locked room and film it.

I had my ears pierced when I was a baby, so I don’t remember about whatever pain it caused because I was too young to remember. Tbh I feel like that’s actually the best way to go around it.
What if you don't want your ears pierced though? Ah too late they were pierced without my consent but it's fine because I can't remember? Nahh

i think a kid should be able to get their ears peiced when they know what it is. I was five and remember asking my mum. I do hate seeing new borns with peiced ears though. Babies don't need glamming up
True, I do also think children are a bit nieve though her argument it happens in some cultures is terrible. In some cultures genital mutilation is normal, in the Incas time women could have 1of 2 options be a concubine or get taught so that you could be clever but you would be a sacrifice for the gods but that's the culture.... This is why we stop things like that.
Either way it's difficult I don't think it's that damaging but nor is baptism but also damaging to be ignorant of the world and become indoctrinated. It's a tad of a trade off
I had mine pierced when I was a baby, but they grew out. Wasn’t until I was about 13 or so before I made the decision to have them pierced again.

FGM is nowhere near the same league as getting your ear lobes peiced. one is mutilation and is life changing. The other is peices a small hold in some unused skin. Feel like she heard of FGM and ran with it.
Completely agree with you, if the child has asked for the piercing fair enough, but I hate when you see babies who are only a few weeks old with pierced ears 😢

At the end of the day everyone pays some sort of tax! For example in Australia everyone pays a goods and services tax (GST). Yeah she should spend her money on her needs. I think the occasional holiday isn’t that bad. I go on a holiday once every two years. But I do draw the line on the cosmetic procedures. But there is no law against it.

Why don't they just wait until the child asks for their ears to be pierced. Explain how it will work, how it will hurt and it will need to be taken care of. If they still want it, go to a reputable piercing place and get it done. Why is everyone so dramatic about it.
I had my ears pierced when I was 6 months old and I don't remember the pain. If it were left till I was older, I'd be fucking freaked out because I hate needles. My friends struggle with wearing earrings but don't want to get pierced lol.
So I'm so happy my mom did it. She did it herself as well. It's a part of my culture so... it was fine. Even commendable.

Because its the usual tactic for anyone who is trying to push their belief on someone else. They cant win a debate and know they cant change your mind, so the next best thing is to make sure you dont have your say in case you make any good points and people listen to you instead. Ironically more people would listen to their points if they came across as civil and courteous, but because the mentality is attack, shout and me,me, me, it actually stops people taking them seriously and just makes them look like looneys. I once had a debate with a vegan and i genuinely was considering adopting a vegan lifestyle, but at the time i was a bodybuilder and i asked what sort of vegan foods should i eat to get around 200grams of protein a day to replace the meats, eggs and fish i was eating and instead of getting reasonable answers or any help to make the switch i got called a murderer and all sorts of names and pretty much just insults and a link to a documentary as to why meat eaters are basically killing the natural world. Imagine, if they had given me some helpful info, i might have made the switch, but if they cant even tell me about the nutrition side of it, then it made me question whether it is that healthy and maybe some of them are more interested in the animals rights than their own health, which put me off the idea.

Shona Sibary gets on my nerves. Her side of each argument actually isn't too difficult to communicate, but she makes it difficult. For instance, the other day, I watched her debate about whether or not wearing makeup is important to a woman's success. She was on the side of no. However, she went to the studio to prove that point by not wearing any makeup, and before she said ANYTHING ELSE, she apologized for her lack of makeup under harsh lights. If you're arguing that it isn't key to a woman's success, you shouldn't apologize for not wearing it.

With the ear pierced situation it’s quite contradicting cause if needles is child abuse what about blood tests,injections,numbing the gums for a filling etc. Or what about children with diseases? I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was 3 but didn’t get diagnosed till last year so I’ve been in n out of hospital constantly getting blood tests and transfusions getting medacine etc. So if forcing me to get stabbed by needles is child avoided then there’s a high chance not only me but millions of other kids could of died. Just saying
