i have digital art, if it sold, who will print and send to buyer? do it by myself or all covered by ArtFinder as part of business,,,,thanks alot your information
Hey thanks for watching! It means you can have 30 listed at a time. So once you sell one, then you can add another! Just a max of 30 at any one given time.
Hey Kim. You will need to either print them yourself or find a professional printer to make prints for you! Once you have prints made or know the sizes you can do (like me, I drop ship my prints), you can select the print option when adding an artwork. I show you how to do this at 20:30 in the video!
@@BrianSloanArtist thanks Brian. For the limited edition, after you sell all 5 of your prints, are you allowed to print more or you can't. Thanks so much
You can just add a new edition. The first time you list limited edition prints they would be classified at First Limited Editions, then second and so on!
I couldn't find anything in their seller guidelines page. But they have to approve your profile to begin with so you could ask or try to upload them then.
Hello! Thank you for the video :) I want to make a question about the collector-artist relationship...how does all this work? we have a direct contact with the collectors?do we know something about the country where the work goes, information about the collector, an exchange of contacts that happens further ...? a review maybe? :)
Yes, you will have direct contact with the collector as you need to ship it to them! You will get their address and contact info. Most often, they contact you after purchasing just to start the conversation. Then, if they please, they will leave you a review when it is all said and done!
Income proof. Lets assume, we upload 50 odd art or design related work of different genre especially digital on the platform !! What will be probalbiity of artwork sold??
@Tian Lan I got an email from them one day saying they were going to close my account. They didn't give a specific reason. But I assume it was because I wasn't selling as much as they would like so I wasn't making them enough money. They said I could reapply in the future but there was no way that was happening.
We would all love to hear your experience with them! This is a great place for everyone to share their experiences. I don't sell with them anymore because they discontinued my profile, even after selling artworks through them. Who knows.
40% is pretty high on commission, thanks for the video.
It is pretty high, I agree!
Hell yea. Guess if someone is desperate or get your workout there
Which site do you think is better for selling original art Artfinder or ArtPal? I am in the U.S.
Personally, I sold more on Artfinder when I was with them then on ArtPal. But the 40% commission fee on Artfinder is pretty steep.
17:44, what to do in case of digital artwork??

Artfinder has a Print-On-Demand system set up. So if you have listed your prints through that system, they will cover everything.
@@BrianSloanArtist nice info... Thanks alot
In this account can I sell digital art or only material art?
You could sell digital art as Limited Edition Fine Art Prints that are offered through Artfinder as far as I know.
In the standard tier, does it mean we can only sell 30 artworks? Like total or per month?

@@BrianSloanArtist ooooh ok that's cool then, thanks a lot!!
Hi Brian , so this website doesn’t have print on demand service. Then how can I make my print or give buyers choice of sizes? Thanks

Brian Sloan Artist thanks so much Brian !!!
How much time will it take for my painting to sell?
That depends on a lot of factors so it is hard to say. I think it took a few months for me to sell my first.
So, could i draw famous character from some Anime, and sell it on Artfinder? Your suggestions please🙏🏻
You still need to be aware of copyright infringement. Double check the rights before selling anything like that.
@@BrianSloanArtist thanks a lot!
No problem!
Very helpfull video ,Thanks so much
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

@@BrianSloanArtist Is there any age restriction or interview or licence needed
@@kidscool8708 There is an application process on Artfinder. And you must be 18 years or older to apply!
@@BrianSloanArtist Ok thanx
And what happens about Copywrite by the author?
I'm unsure what you mean. You are only supposed to sell your own original art!

Brian, your UA-cam reviews of online galleries are very helpful. @@BrianSloanArtist
That is great to hear. If there are any websites that you would like me to review, just let me know!
