I lost my first child in Tomodachi Life when my younger brother knocked my 3DS out of my hand during the baby reveal and the game card popped out without saving. His name was Wyatt. 2016-2016 R.I.P.

i had a similar situation one time when my mii had his 5/6th child, i don't remember what happened but i accidentally removed my cartridge before saving, so when i reloaded the game i ended up naming the baby the same name, and also slightly changed the appearance, since all the kids before looked like me, so i wanted some variety

my first crush as a kid was on a tomodachi i made 💀 i got so mad when he divorced tomodachi me and i "hit" him with my stylus many times and threw him around his room...ahhhh good memories

Well, it kinda got a pseudo-sequel through Miitomo, but yeah I hope it gets a real sequel, or at least a modern port/remake.
Dude. I'm still on my first playthrough and it's 9 years old. This game is absolutely UNREAL- gotta love it when a literal train has a child with donkey Kong and it ends up looking like it was born in the middle of a bombing

There’s nothing like making your crush in tomodachi life, getting your mii to marry the mii crush, and then deleting the island and making a whole new save a year or two later just from pure embarrassment. ahhhh the good old days 😌

I remember back in 2021, I was stuck at my parents house trying to do my first term of college. Before that, our WiFi was out for a month, so It was a kinda dull time but I had a translated copy of tomodachi collection on my computer, which I played the crap out of. Very fun time.

My favorite memories from this series were all the stupid songs I made when I was 8, this one mii constantly divorcing his wives when they had kids, playing collection for the first time and the videos getting decent views, and all of the equally stupid songs I made when I picked life back up again 😎
Bro, same here- been playing life since forever now and I have so. Many. Absolutely insane songs- all from when I was 6 - 10- I'm scared of little me's brain. I also just got collection and since I'm very rusty with Japanese I have to use Google translate, I've gotten such bangers as " fun celery " and "the rice is in pain" from literal gibberish- so glad I found these games, they're so funny

the island at night = underrated
I remember the 3DS demo of this game which i played the hell out of, I pushed it to its limits for months until I finally got the full game for christmas. Good times.
I lost my game card somewhere so this makes me feel nostalgic but also sad.
you can play it on pc for free!
Flash carts are very cheap and easy to use. Softmodding your 3DS is free but more difficult.

tomodachi life holds a near and dear place in my heart... i first played a translated version of tomodachi collection last year where my mii and bridget from guilty gear got married 😭 but i also had a proper tomodachi life save on an emulator, played it so much and it ran at like 20fps in anything but menus but my laptop sadly broke and my saves were ostensibly lost : [ the day it gets a sequel i’m buying it immediately
(also special shoutouts to sol badguy mii and my jerma mii that i kept in a prison cell room)

this started to autoplay in the bg while i was stressing over college stuff and i was able to get through it just fine and also get some important work done :D
I actually never played Tomodachi, but my brother and sister have. However, this music really hits the nostalgic feels anyways. Reminds me of being in highschool and playing my Nintendo DS over the weekends, it's winter, and I'm trying to capture Giratina, but the darn thing won't stay in the ball!

i lost my tomodachi life cartridge when i was in a bus back home, i wanted to switch games and after i pressed it to take it out it LITERALLY flew from the console to a place between seats that was impossible of getting beck. 2 weeks later my 2ds stopped working.
I rember making all of my fictional crushes on my islands and all of the miis made to represent my friends dating them, huh fun times.
