It depends a lot, you can research it on Wikipedia or in more sources to confirm it, even so, it is a lot of work that you do and you also research sources from all the ministers of Italy and laisiqa.
It's interesting to notice that modern Italy is actually walking on the same path of ancient Rome. Started as a collective of fragments and refugees from other countries (Romans was said to be the refugees of Troy, while Italians pre-unification was citizens of countries that was destroyed one by one by foreign invasions). Unified into a single political power. Then the age of the Kings (Rome had seven kings, Italy was founded as "Kingdom of Italy"). Then again faced Civil War and turned into a Republic (Rome fought against the kings, Italy had the ww2 and the Civil War in the same period). I know history wouldn't repeat itself but... May I hope for a new Caesar? 🤔
@@ThatGuyRightThere331 well, its unlikely. Romans had their chance. History will not repeat itself. But if Italy will rise again to the status of superpower, then we can hope for a better future. More humanity, more environment, more cooperation, more trade, and all of this, better, more cheap but at the same time, better designed. Thats the way we run our business today.
Nah as an Italian I might say Italy it qas already a decadent nation when it was created in 1861 As a nation in the 20th and 21yh Never shined but was either a loser (WW2 lost and "mutilated victory"in WW1) ,a joke (fascism) or a puppet/colony with an embarrassing political class 😊
How do you always manage to find these funny photos, Carlo azeglio ciampi looks like a nice grandpa, Sandro pertini looks like a Mexican skeleton, fanfani looks like he is literally singing Bella ciao, so is Nicola, in Giovanni Leone’s picture, there is literally an eye itch glasses poking out at the right side, Mariano rumor looks like he literally is trying to hide a rumor, and lastly Giuseppe Sara gag is showing off his double chin. Anyways, good job, I always enjoy watching these informative videos

great video! indeed thank you for representing the Italian empire. If you allow me, however, I would like to underline some imperfections. The occupation of the Balkans in this video is very approximate however, the territories in Croatia and Slovenia were much more, and the situation began to worsen for the axis after the landing in Sicily in 1943, the Yugoslav revolts in Montenegro instead came immediately suppressed by General Pirzio Biroli in 1941. In April 1941, however, the royal army reached the Igounenitza-Metzovo line in Greece, and the Greeks in January 1941 arrived as far as the two southern lakes of Albania, therefore almost 1/3 and not half Albania as you represented. Then you forgot that in August and September 1923 the Greek island of Corfu was occupied. Ultimately, in El Alamein the Italian-German occupation zone was from this city to the bottom of Egypt. In East Africa, however, you have forgotten the occupied territories in Sudan.
I'm American and I have multiple great great great grandparents from the Marche and under the Church State overall who saved up and came to settle in the ghettos here in the cities of Upstate New York in the decades before World War I, and from what I'm told, they DESPISED the Risorgimento. Much like the Habsburg domains next door, if they were to be united in a massive empire, it would be in faith and fraternity, not nationalism. It feels strangely American, which might be part of the reason they came here specifically.. I looked into their records officially some years back, and they were not among the Black Nobility, but they were in cahoots with them. Both they and my Irish ancestors from another branch, they refused to write the name of the country they were supposed to on census records. They instead wrote "Marche", "Umbria", or "Rome" instead of "Italy", even in the 1930. My Irish ancestors did likewise with "Eire" instead of "Ireland" or "United Kingdom".
because Foggia and Bari were 2 cities separated from Puglia, Puglia was formed by Bari and Foggia, Brindisi, Lecce and Taranto were part of Salento.Salento and Puglia were united under a single region, which took the name of Puglia or Puglie in the plural form
@@felix32lol because in the history of Italy it was a separate province. the provinces of Puglia were: Foggia, Bari, Taranto, Brindisi and Lecce. Each of these cities within Apulia had its own administrative area.
This doesn't sound right. With the end of World War II, Italy lost it's African posessions, all it's holdings on the Balkans up to Trieste, and finally some minor border lands to France.
The President (Presidente della Repubblica) represents the Republic, is the guarantor of the Constitution and the commander of the Army, the Prime Minister (Presidente del Consiglio) is the head of the Government.
