My closet has been long overdue for some routine decluttering! I’m so glad to finally have this out of the way. I hope this video inspires you to organize a problem area in your home 🤗
I have to admit that on a personal level, these declutter and organize videos on your channel are my absolute favorites to watch!! It is so satisfying to see you going through a space and touching each and every item to see what you want to keep, what you want to donate, and what is trash. And to watch the entire process and see it going from cluttered and disorganized to aesthetically pleasing and functional just makes my organization heart happy!! And, I really liked the wire bins that you used in the bottom space of your closet ~~ so much so, that I paused the video and ordered 3 of them for my own closet. My husband and I live in an 892 square foot 1 bedroom + den apartment and so storage space is always at a premium so it was nice to see something that hopefully will provide us some functional storage options.

I have to take steroids to keep my cortisol levels up. I had my pituitary gland removed after finding out I had a tumor on it. And I really don’t like taking the steroids. I have gained thirty some pounds since I started. Once in a while I will wean myself off of them. But then I feel worse so I start back on them. I just took some of my summer clothes I don’t wear out of my closet. But I really need to go through my shoes and boots. And I know when the weather gets cooler I’m going to have more clothes to put back in. And I have clothes in the guest bedroom closet too. We live in a small manufactured home. And it has no storage. I don’t even have a linen closet. So the guest bedroom chest of drawers and cedar chest are full of sheets and blankets. The closet also holds a lot of pillows. I have six grandkids that live close. And a granddaughter who lives in a different state. All by the same daughter. So when she comes with her boyfriend I have a house full of kids. And no room to put them. But when I clean out my closet, my clothes don’t go away at first. My granddaughters go through and pick out what they want first. Then I take the rest to Goodwill. We don’t have a garage either. But we do have a big shed we bought for everything that doesn’t fit in our little house. I love the drawers you have in your closet. Now I know where I can get them. It would really help the bottom of my closet. I have two or three shoe racks in the bottom. And I can never find what I want.

I will be doing the closet declutter soon, I do it at the end of each season. I DO group my clothes By color, and only by color. I don't group seasons , or weather it's work or casual, I tried that and couldn't keep up with it. Color grouping makes it easy and d works well for ME. Its the only system I have kept up with.

My fiance and I live in a relatively small apartment and struggle with a lack of storage options as well. One of his special interests is model trains and he has a whole setup with a table and a village and the boxes take up so much room in his closet but we don't have a garage, an attic, or a finished basement. Luckily I love to organize so I did the best I could to organize it and even encouraged him to declutter a little bit.

Target! I bought them in the beginning of Spring and have only worn one so far 😅 the others were still in the store bag shoved into the closet…I had forgotten all about them 😵💫
Our home is small too. The closet has wardrobe things and other. I went through my clothes and was able to get 2 dresses to replace ones seeing better days ❤
My mom has always said that you need different colors on your plate for dinner, a green, a red/yellow /orange, a white for the carbs and then your protein 👍😁
Hi Megan great video as always. I’m so happy for you that u were able to get your health under control and found out what was causing the problem. I have a suggestion on bigger storage, what about a shed where you could store all seasonal holiday and other things in bins. That would help elevate the over flow for you inside your home. I actually bought them at the beginning of Spring & 2 of them still have the tags on 🤣 they were tucked away in the bag from the store, forgot all about them. 2 piece sets that are perfect for casual outings, or can be dressed up for nicer events 🤗

Since our home is also tiny 1030sq ft and no basement I just love seeing videos for tips on decluttering!
