    We have millions in Canada and they’re really expensive. Plus they can’t build enough of them for it to work the way the government expected it to.

    Planning has been put in for wind Turbines next to Top Withern in Bronte Country 65 Turbines 150/200 meters high (THE SIZE OF BLACKPOOL TOWER) Experts say the loss of PEAT will
    run into MILLIONS of TONS of lost carbon just digging the footings not counting the massive road building for installation & maintenance & will cost more than the so called saving of
    cheap energy. FLOODING will also be a massive problem with the loss of peat. Private profit should NOT come before the environment.Read what all the experts say.

    The Highlands of Scotland, which suffers from amongst the highest fuel poverty and happens to be the coldest area in the UK, is fast becoming overwhelmed by wind farms.
    Ironically, although the Highlands disproportionately produce power for the nation, its residents pay amongst the highest fees for electricity. As long as the energy companies remain privatised, with little external scrutiny, they will keep prices high to pay dividends to their shareholders and ignore the residents' concerns about where these wind farms are sited.

    We need more off shore wind farms, not on shore. Put some on shore turbines in and around London and see what the people say.

    • @simon-df9wh
      @simon-df9wh 2 місяці тому

      Do you know how many birds get killed by skyscrapers, and don't forget cats, should we remove them to save birds, as one skyscraper kills more birds than 100 wind turbines, and over a year cats kill 27 million birds in the UK, so I think some wind turbines are not a issue, or would you like a large nuclear power station outside your house?

      @@simon-df9wh sky scrapers are useful,wind turbines are only a bit useful... they're not enough to keep power on and they are no longer used eventually and there are "graves"where they are dumped,we haven't reached being completely green yet and I have solar panels and want things to improve..with this crap weather my airing cupboard isn't "buzzing" as I would hear when the sun is out.
