There is quite literally nobody like Derek. This man is a a very generous and genuine musical genius. 3 G's for PL.
This was hands down the best PL set I've ever seen. We got 5 new tracks in a row starting with the Sun Spreads into a bomb Roy Ayer's cover. The Samso in this set was huge. The Supervision track at 1 hour into, was a beauty. THE HEAD NOD FREEDOM WITH THE WOO HA + FLIP IS NASTYYYYYYY. And lastly closing with Dionysus was legendary. Ya'll gotta recognize this is the hottest electronic music in the game right now.
Please come back Derek... lol I have been rewatching these shows during the virus lock down of 2020 and they just bring back so many awesome feelings and memories. We need this in our lives more than ever

Still watching this set… Derek still fux harder than coronavirus…….. certainly amazing to watch Derek and the band work . Ever live set I’ve watched of these guys they have a different set up and he works some new portion of the best . Also he’s dressed like a Dr. almost thought that was the stethoscope around his neck and a lab coat hes wearing
This I think is my favorite performance cause I mean look at him work the synthesizer mahhh rays Derek can play at my house anyday I’ll roll up a joint rn and then 4 more
The Conductor Chris Karns is doing all the scratching live. He’s a DMC world champ and one of the best real DJs in the world. Derek is like a conductor utilizing some of the best and most talented musicians to orchestrate his vision. The scratching is definitely all live, just not DVS doing it.

Samso was incredible. Hearing it live never ceases to give me the chills. Something about the live version with the full band hits different

Saturday may have been the best Pretty Lights show I have seen... and I have been going since the Aggie days in Fort Collins! That was a great weekend
