Wish Sig would offer this optic for the commercial variant.

Very well done. I think Sig did a fantastic job with the design of this optic. I can’t think of a more secure way to mount an optic onto a pistol slide.

Thanks! It's been a great optic so far. I agree, it's probably the best mounting system that has been developed so far.

Screw torque is 40 in-lbs, its written on the bottom of the optic. 271 also does offer more resistance to the screw backing out under recoil. High round counts, blue loctite does not perform as well. Will it work for most, probably, I would use 243 over 242. 10K plus round counts are expensive.

Thanks for that info! I'll have to get it torqued down to the proper spec. When I went out to zero the optic, I definitely had the screw back out a little on me. I have used blue in the past on an ACRO P-2 on a Glock G45, but only have just over 1k rounds through it. Looks like I'll have to switch over to using either 271 or the 243 like you suggest. I haven't gotten any optic-mounted pistols up to higher round counts yet, and appreciate the input!
