I gotta say, mate. I revisit this video every few months, because you've made something so awesome. Thanks for posting it this forever ago, and cheers.
Love the sound of your bike man and of course the Indian look your seat is awesome I'm looking at a 2001 800 Drifter now in the more of these videos I watch the more interested I get specially after hearing your pipes
HAHA! Very impressed man! Excellent personal touch that is what its all about. And the best part is-the original war bikes were not nearly as comfortable or as reliable or as fuel efficient as that one.Excellent ! I would like to see many more people take this much time and effort to make their machines the way THEY like them.Very nicely done mate~!
Really nice job on the styling there man. A lot of folk modify bikes but don't have an artistic eye. The results are often 'confused'. I'm looking at the V&H Cruzers for my 800 Classic. In-the-flesh so to speak, do they give a pleasing rorty sound, without making your ears bleed, or causing strokes and heart attacks in OAP's etc? Will the MOT man take offense? :) Cheers,
I'll have to show this to my dad when I go see him tomorrow! He has the same bike, not saying who's is better but you can find his on my channel (Not advertising just think you would like to see his) It's a pretty rare bike, well I only know of one person in Leeds with a Vulcan.
Nice one, i've just looked. I don't know that bike!! :) There is a owners forum. Were having a meet in April, get him along!! Head over to motorslager.nl for the owners forum (VDOG UK)
Great walk-around of a great bike, maybe you should have chosen a better background though! I considered doing a similar thing to my old VN but when I came across this didn't bother, no way I could have even come close without the skirts around the fenders and the single seat, however the one thing I do regret is getting rid of my VN800B just wish I could have kept it as well as getting the Midnight Star, Ride Safe Bro.
Yeah i was a little limited on locations, and wanted to go somewhere quiet so i didn't feel like a knob talking to myself haha!! I really love the VN800, shame you got rid of yours dude, but the Midnight Star is a beast !
crotchrocket Hahaha I know what you mean! that's why when I did mine, I did it twice in a car park and people kept on coming up to me saying how nice the bike is, so I did it on the back garden in the end, lol, RSMF.
Hi I was wondering if you have or no of a double seat for sale for the 01 800 drifter I've found one I'm interested in also how much would you pay for one which is the same style as yours. Thanks
Best to get on the drifter forum ( vdogforum.co.uk ) for a seat etc. Regarding price, they do vary a lot, but never worth much more than £3000 - £4000 depending on condition and mileage etc.
seems pricey for a home built / rat look one. but go see it, it might be a peach. jump on the forum and register and ask some questions there, lots of people in the know !
I love the look on your bike! It has inspired me to get working on mine! The only question is what kind of exhaust pipes did you get? I've had a hard time finding aftermarket ones for the vn800 drifters that aren't super long and reach all the way back to the back fender, such as this www.hardkrome.com/models.php?modelID=26 but yours are much shorter, and much more in line with what I was looking for.

Thanks Mark! These Vance and Hines cruisers sound the best in my opinion but don’t look as good as others.

I'm curious, are the Cruzers debaffled? Sounds awesome and great bike! :)
Great bike mate. How much was the seat? The seats manufacture? And was it straight forward to fit? Thanks in advance chap :)
Hey dude, its a corbin solo saddle. The colour is custom.

Hey mate, I've seen you mention the Clicktronic on other videos but have always wondered how come you need one?
Hi Mate, its because my left leg is half paralysed from a bike crash. Have a watch of this ua-cam.com/video/7LNUWTiUEi0/v-deo.html
I watched the video and man that sounds harsh! Glad to see you're alive and still enthusiastic about biking!
Cheers Dude !!

They are stock pipes from custom or classic vn800 but without heatshields and they are wrapped and debaffled
