Ski Strength Conditioning & Injury Prevention - Week 1

  • Trying something new here - for the past few seasons I have made the effort to strengthen my weak ski muscles before heading into winter. It’s a huge part of injury prevention and key to a long successful winter in the mountains.
    This is a 6 week plus video series with new workouts each week. They only take 15 minutes plus another few minutes introducing the exercises. Recommended repeating 2 or 3 times each week. You’ll feel it if you’ve been neglecting your strength training!

    Just wanted to give feedback. I did your ski conditioning workouts for about 6 weeks before heading to Breck this past week. I’m PROUD and grateful to report I was NOT sore or tired at the end of any of my 4 ski days. This, along with cardio, got me completely read for the slopes. (The rest of my group was complaining by the end of the day that their legs were jello and in pain. NOT ME!) I will be doing these in prep for next season as well! Thank you!

    Love your video, Short and sweet exercise routine it is not only explanatory, but I actually can participate. the skiing footage with background music is really inspirational and motivational. Thank you for putting this video together. The overall length is just perfect. Looking forward to watching your video every day and getting ready for skiing!

    I recommend watching the instructions first, but this makes it easier if you want to get back to the workout the next day.

    Really find your techniques effective, just by 1 week, my husband noticed noticable changes on my thighs! ✊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 would you be able to do more videos on core strengthening? Love your cute b. collie 🐶

    hey nice video, when I see my ski clip, I often ski with a frame especially while carving, Is this becasue of weak hip abductor muscles?

    You should check out squat university. Those squats are low back pain waiting to happen. Get you chest up
