When you scare to poop.
"No one will care about my death if I don't prove to them that I lived."
Oof...that one hit me hard.
Reminds me of an episode of scrubs, a homeless man came into the hospital but he had a terminal illness, he knew he was dying before he ever came in and all he asks is for a place to sleep that night. Later when what he has is killing him and it's painful and he's suffering, one of the doctors tries to give him pain meds and he says something to the effect of "I don't want them, if I died painlessly no one would have a reason to remember me" So he insists on dying in pain so that people will remember him in the end.
@@Nyghtking Wasn't that a House episode? Or maybe they both had one like that.
@@Nyghtking
Fucking _Scrubs_ did that?
Perfect Vermin turned this into depression stream real quick.
Imagine hiring a professional mimic killer and when you go back into the office on Monday he literally just destroyed everything
[NOT A MIMIC]
“Everything was a mimic, fuck you bro, pay me.”
It's pretty good symbolism for the subject
Perfect Vermin might be the only game I've ever seen that's made _more_ unsettling with proper context.
Context?
@@fransoto8343 the office was the news mans body. The furniture inside it were parts of his body. The "perfect vermin" were tumors. You play as a cancer treatment, that is why you wreck everything. over the entire span of the game you keep seeing "no smoking" signs. Also, every time it cuts to the news guy the ashtray becomes fuller.
@@OcrimBob
That's why it's terrible whenever he misses. I wonder if there's a change if you only break the correct things?
It'll be a massive shame if Vin doesn't point this out, but I'd imagine since you did he doesn't.
@@RavemastaJ there isn't a good ending
Oh Perfect Vermin was cool. I just realized the games about things being out of place and seeming multiplied. a chair that looks normal but is where it shouldn't be, like cancerous cells multiplying
And the sledge hammer being able to destroy both normal and abnormal objects could be analogous to chemo and surgery or other radical cancer therapies. Which is why it's important to destroy as few normal objects as possible, but sometimes you have to just to get to the abnormal ones.
@@melissalawson7803 Luckily, technology is advancing very rapidly in the medical field. There is hope that within our lifetimes, nearly all forms of cancer are entirely curable. I hope that hope is right.
@@luisp.3788 Well that's obviously not gonna happen cus money
@@shelby5809 lol what
@@luisp.3788 maybe he means because cancer is very, very profitable and its treatment has a large industry built around it. not a conspiracy theory, just how it is.
I understood the reference from the very start in perfect vermin. Cancer is a terrifying disease. I'm not really affected by horror games but sickness , suffering and death really scare me.
Allegory is a good word for it.
Cancer is perhaps the scariest real-world thing I can think of.
It definitely is the scariest thing that actually affects all of us to some degree.
As soon as he was getting infected himself that's when I realized that it was cancer
@foijk Oh wow cool, let me tell that to my dead friends.
Well if I'm ever doing a life or death game with Vinny, clearly adding "spot the missing chair" alongside connect 4 would be a good call
Perfect vermin really got me down. That final monologue made me feel
Don't smoke 😳
@@JustLostTheGame but it's so tasty
@@GuillotineDani yknow what else is tasty? clean, fresh air
I figured out the twist in Perfect Vermin about halfway through and had to just sit there for a minute before continuing to watch the rest. That's a depressing concept. But at least he's choosing to make the rest of his life mean something.
Is the creator dying? I don't think I get it.
@@gustavonunes8 The anchorman is upset with how his life turned out, and how bad of a person he thinks he is, so he's resolved to kill himself through smoking and developing cancer. The gameplay of going into an office building and strategically destroying living tissue is him smoking cigarettes to destroy his organs. Each new life is a new cigarette, with him getting more upset that the last one didn't do the job. It's presented as some sort of fantasy or nightmare based on his life experiences on reporting news, specifically that office massacre downtown. His body turns more into just a blob of cancer cells in this fantasy, as the pile of cigarettes in the ashtray grows larger.
The dialogue is sparse, but it gives a really detailed look into what the mind of a 40-50-something man developing cancer might be like. From anger to resentment to apologizing to eventually denial. In the end he seems to have accepted that he's going to die but wants to be remembered for his career, in defiance of going out the exact same way his Mother did. He's just so scared of being like her that he doesn't even want to acknowledge his cancer.
... theres a twist?
@@TehSkullKid but why didn't he want to acknowledge the cancer if he purposely smoked and you know.. tried to die by it? Or did he want to end himself subconsciously because of a built resentment and regret over a meaningless life?
I guess I'm the dumbest one here since I don't understand how smashing mimics into a bloody mess is an allegory for cancer but that's fine
5:38 thats how Jerma walks

I am amazed by how great Perfect Vermin was/is.
I never expected it to go there.

If Vinny was a D&D character, his perception would be negative 30.
Meaning that, even on a natural 20, his roll would still be negative 10.
Play another rpg
13:58 Okay, Doc Strawberry sounds just like Gir from Invader Zim here and I'm shocked no one else has mentioned it.
You're right. It sounds exactly like Gir, even down to the accents and tinny/robotic effect in his voice.
Welcome to the manly badass hero pack, and that’s a good thing
Or the Alpha Beta gamer pack
It SO is, tho!
I lost my dad to cancer this year and I cant even tell you how hard I cried during perfect vermin
I lost my Grandpa a few months ago. I'm feeling it too after that.
I'm so sorry. please remember that I love you.
Talking about your personal life in a UA-cam comments section on a funny man's channel is usually a good idea.
@@shelby5809 I get that you're trying to be an edgelord troll, but watching someone close to you slip away from cancer is a tremendously gutwrenching experience and sharing that experience on a video where it's depicted in a pretty brutal way isn't beyond the pale. You're still young and I hope you don't have to experience that feeling but unfortunately, chances are... you will. Hopefully you'll gain a slight amount of empathy and understanding before that happens. In the meantime, try not to be crass.
i'm so sorry, hope you're ok :(
Not gonna lie, when the corrupted real estate agent showed up the first time i got massive chills
he shows up a bit more if you ask for details while looking at the bloody objects around the house, but italiano man didnt do this.
"corrupted" real estate agent, you mean even more corrupt than usual?
That first game remind me of when I got locked in a hotel room while on vacation as a kid, and my Mom went to go get help and didn't realise the lights turned off if you took the key card. Honestly horrifying.
Vinny's Vineblinding hard in Perfect Vermin
That Perfect Vermin game was real sad. Like, when you get into the deeper meaning, it’s real sad.
I don't mean to sprinkle my downer flakes in the comments but Christ, Perfect Vermin was a tough watch. I just learned this morning that my aunt died of lung cancer. We weren't close, not close as I wanted to be anyway, but for a little part of the world you know to just vanish overnight is a feeling that's hard to describe.
My heart goes out to anyone fighting through that thing and to all from whom it's stolen.
My heart goes out to you and anyone else whose lost a loved one to cancer. I lost my aunt to gastrointestinal cancer back in February and the pain still comes and goes like waves.
Perfect Vermin was an absolute punch to the gut.
Thank you, and to be repetitive the condolences are mutual.
Ok
@@josezamora2646 I also lost a loved one, my grandfather, to cancer in February. He lived on the other side of the world so I was never close to him, but the last time I saw him he was strong and still working in the fields, despite being in his 80s. When the pictures of him came back during his last days I couldn't bare to look. He was just... a skeleton. The strong man with muscles and a bright smile I had seen 5 years before was almost gone. My father didn't even have a chance to be with him at his end.
@@tamiwu0346 my memere (my dad's mom, that side of my family is French Canadian so that's always what we've called her since dad called her that) passed away about a year and a half ago or so. She had serious heart problems, was a smoker earlier in life for a while, and I believe she was also diabetic. We think she caught COVID, and that it had probably been the nail in the coffin for her.... My dad had felt awful, it was a week before he was gonna go visit his parents when she passed. I handle death and grief weirdly, so it's not like it shattered me, but I did love her a lot and seeing how stressed it made my parents was awful.
To be fair, though, she hardly could do anything. It's sad but... Pepere believed that she'd been ready for a while.
We all just hope she was at peace by the end...
Perfect Vermin is a perfect test for whose house you could subtly reorganise and they'd never notice
Unity Devs really love using that same exact house in The Open House for everything.
I've seen it in so many games. Mostly horror ones.
Damn, and here I thought it was specifically created for House Flipper. Even the effects, objects and everything look just like it.
I think in House Flipper there was also a murder scene there to clean up.
that's why Open House works better than them
All i can think of is house party & how’s it goin’ dude ://
@@sweerpotato4344 Imagine a crossover between The Open House and House Party.

Some of the rooms are arranged differently but yeah, it’s a lot of the same stock assets in very similar layouts
How's it goin' dood?
Exactly what I thought, but with minor changes to make it look a bit different and it's own layout
The entire house is a stock asset "HQ Residential House"
Ah, HQ Residential House. We meet again.
Photogrammetry actually is a cool technology. They use it to record Egyptian tombs as they excavate them and other rad stuff like that.

Great descriptor: This is one of those days where you poop and you need to take shower right after, that's the kind of poop this is." Oh the majesty and wonderment of Vinny's words.

Death flush was amazing. It's crust gave me nostalgia to playing weird free games as a kid.
Holy fuck I was not prepared for the turn that Perfect Vermin took. Good to be confronted with that pure undistilled real possibility once in a while but damn.
that Perfect Vermin game went from destroying fun and obeying work, to self vs everyone else. What the hell.

"Completely redone and modern full bathroom"
If the house was built in 2019, and yet the bathroom has been "redone", then when does this game take place?
... 2019? 2020?
“They may frighten your pants” will now be part of my daily vocab thanks vinny
I remember watching other youtubers playing the virtual open house game. It's not really scary but it is creepy.
It won one of my favorite games of the night simply for doing so much with so little. It seemed like they didn’t have anyone to make original 3D assets or drawings for them, but they ended up with something surprisingly decent with all or mostly stock assets.
I thought it was cool but kinda goofy
I saw somebody in chat say "gamer smile" when the saleman had the transparent face and I couldn't take it seriously anymore.
I would say classic Clickbait game.
I thought it was hilarious
the open house has so much potential, with the idea that it is a real-time 3D render of a real house no different to google maps street view there could be so many batshit insane scenes you could come up with, like a secret cult or a murder, they did use the potential pretty alright but I feel as if they did not expand on that aspect that much, just making it extremely subtle and not too on the nose would help it even more.
Death Flush is literally nightmare on elm street but if Freddy were a toilet killer and came back to kill people on toilets, even kinda acts like Freddy LMAO, and the toilet shooting blood and other stuff really makes me think elm street was their inspiration
GOOD SHIT
Bizarre seeing a fullsauce thumbnail and noticing it has an asset from a random itchio horror game I played a while back on a whim

Having a cig and a coffee on the balcony while watching Vinny play Perfect Vermin is a serene experience, made slightly less so by the cancer analogy that game makes
The house used in the third game is a variation of the House Party house I swear.

After 7 years of watching this manchild, I have come to the conclusion that the stream thing overloads his brain and his eyes just daze around in the nothingness instead of actually looking
Vinny kinda just does things arbitrarily. Like a dog.
Now that's just mean. Don't compare Vinny to a dog. Dogs are actually good at learning things.
I love the death flush female video game character gag, where when a female character gets hurt, she is jokingly said to be moaning. Cuz in death flush it’s is obviously made to sound like a moan and it cracks me up that they thought about that
