Half marathons are my favorite distance. Great job! I also love to sprint at the end of a race. It's strange bc just the form change from endurance running to sprinting can be enough to pull it off.
I know that pain. I ran a 40 mile ultra with no training and got hurt 20 miles in. I had to walk 20 miles back to finish the race and it took 10 hrs to finished lol. Never give up!
I just did my first half marathon too! It was a trail one and I totally ate it on a hidden root about half way through and I thought I was going to put after that. Luckily I was good and got pretty close to my reach goal time!
Heck yea!! I’ve always dread about racing a competitive 13.12 miler. The training you put in is very inspirational, to show others that you can accomplish what you put your mind into. Sorry about that runners knee, I’m an athlete that has gone through many injuries, such as a ligament sprain/minor tear after rolling my ankle that took me out for 6 weeks, constant calf pain, shin splints, runners knee, don’t worry, I’m an expert on injuries. Very cool to see you race in the Alphafly’s as they do sound rubbery, but also the carbon-fiber plate helps with a spring action that makes running feel easier yet fun! Make sure to stretch before and after a run, strengthening to avoid injuries 😪 And most importantly: RUNNING FORM!! Typically you would want to land on your midfoot area just between the arch and ball of the foot, forefoot would require between the ball and toes which would minimize a faster pace, mile, 2 mile, 5K. Sorry, you didn’t order a yappuchino. But yeah, awesome job on your race and to push through the end, can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! ❤
Now that you reinjured yourself that pain will last a long time. I still have pain from when i tore a tendon in my knee during ice skating. The next day it was so swollen i couldn’t move it
When did you start running? I am almost turning sixteen, is it too late for me to become as good as you? I come from a traumatic background, I was a pre professional ballet dancer in training. In danced in my country’s most prestigious ballet academy en pointe, until I had some things happen to me. To this day I am still recovering after nearly two years. I haven’t done any major exercises since, and I am scared if that I won’t be able to be as good in sports as I used to be. I always had a passion for running, yes it’s hard for me but it brings me so much joy.
I didn’t start running until my mid 20’s! If you started now you’ll be wayyyy ahead of me 🩵 sending you all the love that you can get past those moments in your life & find a love for moving your body again in a way that fills your soul up. I know you can do it ☺️
Very good. But I would appreciate all you Americans to quit giving weird recipe measurements now runners. We click off by Miles. This is scary as we are worried about the WORLD ORDER. They use KL in Europe!!
As a fellow runner, bravo! You did amazing! ❤❤❤🏃♀️
Thank you so much!! 🩵🩵

I defiantly want to do another!! Yes it is crazy how different the sprint vs. run form is!

1st half marathon next month
Why you look like the female version of Russel Howard lol 💀
She has no muscle tone that’s why she got injured. Eat and workout and you’ll have the body to run
