- In this Episode of Amiga Retro, I wanted to publicly make corrections in regards to a couple of misunderstandings I had while producing my last Video, "Amiga 500 Accelerator Overview and Bonus Video".
Thanks to all of my Subscribers and Viewers who gave me the information I needed to be aware of. It's always appreciated.
Correction: At 1:34 into the Video: The 6820's Memory addressing space is 4GB, not 4TB, . This I knew, but read my typo anyway. My Editing skills definitely needs work :)
I saw your Amiga Retro review and discounted it as incorrect after reading Matze's thread on a1k.org. After purchasing one of these, I await the full review with eager anticipation.
Just stumbled upon your channel recently and I love your videos.
I just recently got an A500 (rev6 board) for nostalgias sake (had an A500+ back when i was a kid). Any chance of you making a video of essential "upgrades" for a stock condition A500 to keep it going and providing fun for years to come =D
I am glad you found my channel. I have several 500's I could do such a video on. I will see what I can do. Thanks again for "Tuning in".
Allan, the TK cards are designed by Matthias Heinrich, known in Germany as 'Matze' and he also has designed the fastest 030 accelerator for the A500 as well. All his stuff is open source.
Luke, do you have any links to where you can purchase these?
@@Wallygjs Amibay has links. Let me see.

@@MrLukealbanese Thanks!
@@MrLukealbanese Many thanks for finding that.
There is a typo/thinko in the 32bit addressing limits is 4G bytes not 4T bytes. I doubt any hardware manufacturer of that era would even imagine addressing so much memory.
Indeed, you are correct, I even said 4 TB, of which, like you said, would be an insidious amount of memory addressing back in the day.
Thanks for the update!
