    A lot of pilots usually cover the speedometer and sometimes part of the RPMs as well! It's normal and it's usually done so they don't look at their speed! If you look, it's bad

    • @soufilms
      @soufilms 6 років тому

      Believe me all professional pilots don't cover speedos at all, because we never watch dashboard in regards what speed or rpm you are doing as you fully concentrated on your riding and smoothness, you only look at dash on the straight light in regards to see if there are any issues coming up with the bike (engine light or oil light) nothing else ;) This is covered purposely because he does footage fro magazine and doesn't want other people trying to follow the speeds he is riding as this is the common mistake from thew newbies to start chase up, usually endup very badly.

    Squid is used over here too, but, possibly to a lesser extent.
    I think the term "Twat" is more widely used. ;)
    get some cheap textiles, or hunt around on Ebay. You can get some amazing 2nd-hand deals.

    Great lap! I am a little curious about your use of engine braking. You blip the throttle and down shift before the turn and then seem to ride the engine through the first portion, somewhere around the halfway mark you start to roll on. I'm pretty sure this is referred to as an entry exit corner strategy, what is impressive is I don't see the front wheel dip much before the turn so are you really just riding the engine in or is the camera deceiving me?

    i wish to get a big bike soon. currently riding a cbr250r and although its a 20bhp jump from my scooter which i had to use before i got my bike license i hardly feel much more power... wish i had just bought a s1000rr or something of the same range

    • @Quinney84
      @Quinney84 7 років тому

      ameya karnalkar you would need to restrict it so a s1krr with less than 100bhp. dude keep the 250 until un restricted licence is available. plus lower power bike teach you corner speed.

    1:56 is that the paint on the starting grids doing that? I've felt traction loss before on paint but that is quite pronounced.

    no matter if you're new to riding or a long time pro, riding without gear is just not worth the risk. you dont have to be bubble boy or use a pro leather 1 piece suit, but get some nice boots, jacket, gloves, and pants. you wont regret a penny spent if/when you go down. i know i didnt. infact, i regret not spending MORE on gear, maybe higher boots would have kept my shin from shattering to that street sign
