Thank you so much for the reading what the maker said for each quilt, no one else I've watched has done that. I ALWAYS read those thoughts by the maker at any quilt show I go to. It will give us insights to what the maker was thinking when the quilt was made.

Cathy I was there on Thursday but did not see you and Paul. I was very disappointed but I did see.your beautiful quilt up close and I love it even more than before. You are a fantastic quilter with an imagination that is so wonderful. When I read than only 470 quilts of over 2300 were accepted I thought what an honor to even be selected. It is AWESOME. You are winner in every way. I love you and your channel and can't wait to see.what you bring to us in the future.

I didn't see one quilt that didn't deserve a ribbon. Including the ribbon quilt 😂 They were all so beautiful. I don't know how the judges could do it. I couldn't. I'm glad you are happy and proud. You definitely should be. ❤

Paul, your photography is amazing. I have watched several QuiltCon videos and often get frustrated that they don’t show close up shots of the quilts so I can see the stitches. Your thumbnails attracted me to the channel and Cathy’s wonderful personality caused me to subscribe and jump on every video. Love what you two are doing.

ABSOLUTELY agree that it’s the pace and allowing us to LOOK at them unlike the quick walk through pans trying to pause the video. SO ENJOY the artist statements being read

I feel the same! After reading so many of the artist's statements, I have so much more appreciation for their work--even if it isn't my preferred design style or color palette!

I can only watch most video for a few minutes at a time due to virago this time I was able to watch to the end. So I now I will watch again

The competition was very intense just to be accepted. I saw a video of some great quilts that were rejected.
Another UA-camr showed your quilt on a walk around at Quilt Con 24. I recognized it from watching Catbird! I think it was Cathy Dillion’s video. It looked awesome, wish she had read the card to identify it. I was rooting for you. You provide great inspiration! Thank you for your videos!

I’m so proud of your quilt!!!such an honor & emotional moment to see you see your quilt in such an amazing event!! It’s just stunning. It rivals the winners for sure. Thank you for sharing these awesome quilts & the stories behind the inspiration! I needed to see this this morning- to give me inspiration since I’m bent on making 23 quilts by April 15th!! My granddaughter won the opportunity to travel from Tx to Florida to compete in the ALLSTAR WORLD CHEER COMPETITION where she will compete against elite teams from around the world!! She is 9 years old 😊. Thank you!! Congratulations to you for marking this off your bucket list!! I’m so so PROUD OF YOU!!

Your Rothko quilt definitely held its own in good company! I was so glad o see it in person! It had the impact of color blocking that showed up from a distance and then, the closer you got, the more detail you saw. I really loved that! Fabric details and placement and stitching/quilting are like the brush strokes of a great painting -- they reveal the gifts and skills of the maker. The show as a whole was stunning. I was impressed with the variety of quilts. And it was so lovely to meet you and Paul! ❤

Words can't express how excited I was to wake up to this video. Funny though because part of me wanted to save watching it so that I could make the anticipation last longer. I was glad to get another glimpse of your Rothco quilt. I am so proud that you put yourself out there by creating and entering this quilt. Your emotional response was heartwarming. That's because you make quilts for people you love for them to use and put your heart and soul into them. Your presented piece contains not just hard work, thought and toil but a little piece if Cathy too. I so admire you for having a go.
