  • Listen to the beautiful, tranquil sounds of Frogs singing their song from the Sandhills of Nebraska.
Traveling across Nebraska this spring I had the great opportunity to spend a few nights in the rolling dunes of the Sandhills. Even though the Sandhills are one the lease populated and desolate places in the country, the hills are teaming with wildlife. At dusk, the waterfowl fly in to feed and roost on one of the many hundreds of small lakes and ponds and the sound of Frogs fill the air with their beautiful songs.
Whether you're studying, meditating, sleeping or suffering from tinnitus, this tranquil recording will help you relax and forget your worries.

I've been recording high quality nature sounds for over 27 years for my own personal use. When I first started, nature recordings didn't exist and when these type of recordings finally hit the market, they were so overly compressed & attenuated it didn't even remotely sound natural!
All of my recordings are captured in nature as it happens. None of my recordings have been "Computer Generated" or are short segments looped together. I have traveled to some of the most remote areas of the world to capture my nature sounds, only to find jets flying overhead or a train off in the distance blowing a horn. It is virtually impossible to capture a clean recording without the "Hand of Man" being heard. To remove these sounds would take some serious computer manipulation and destroy the integrally of the recording! Being a purest... what you hear is what you get... just like the real world.
    *****************************************************************
If you enjoy these sounds and want to help be a part of preserving "Earth's Natural SoundScape"... then please click on the link below and donate. Your generous contribution helps make it possible for me to continue capturing these sounds that are quickly disappearing from our Natural SoundScape!

I hope you enjoy this beautiful recording as much as I have in recording them!!!

Oh my GOSH! This is my OTHER most favorite sound in the world. Ever since I was a kid in Michigan-frogs meant springtime. I hardly hear them anymore because everything is built up where they should be. So sad. So GLAD I found this! Thank you.

I grew up on a small holding in South Africa in the Free State. At night we could hear the frogs, crickets even an howl singing in the night. At dusk little birds could be heard nestling their young in the trees. City living looses so much of nature. Thank you for the beautiful peaceful nature sounds

The people of Nebraska have stopped the insane Gravestone Xtra Leakage pipeline from going over the sandhill region so far, so maybe these little guys won't get wiped out after all! But the fossil fools have a lot of money, so the danger's not passed yet

Unfortunitly Trump just signed a exuctive order
to expedite the building of the TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline
through the Sandhills. This will be very devastating to both our
      wildlife and our water resources!!!
