@@vxytor he is right in a way. He would've died much earlier if he didn't use his stun properly. This gave him more time. More time = more windows for your opponents to make mistakes.
@@vxytor Well he just dies there for sure if he didnt use his stun properly, there are so many different things the enemy can do, you need to just focus on your best plays
I wish more laners understood the idea of winning trades as a precondition for ganks. "We were shoved under tower all game, why no ganks?" You were also 15% health under tower every time I was on your side of the map with the enemy at 75%.
@@OffhandLime because the enemy mid could easily get a double kill and snowball even harder, it’s easier to just gank a winning lane and have them equal out the enemy mid.
@@OffhandLime jg time is also precious. Camps that are up means free gold sitting there and not having respawn timers ticking. While laners are even, wave might not be positioned favorably for guaranteed gank. There's a Venn diagram with the intersection of high probability of success of gank, camps alive on your side of map, and laner health difference that must align for me to gank for you
I think there is an exception to the rule of popping potions though. On some offmeta mids like morde, you run dorans shield plus second wind, which both scale from missing health. To get the most out of your sustain, you do not want to be topped off in this case, especially vs super long range poke mids where you will need the sustain in the long run. The item/rune combo allows you to basically infintely sustain damage at half health in the early game on some champs. Trynd mid is another example of a champ that can do this.
Sitting mid and farming during enemy laner ganks is the easiest way to win lanes hard. If you ping hard enough and you teammates wont int you can usually set up a huge advantage. Moreover in plat/diamond where i sit when you are winning the lane and play it cool not engaging like crazy the enemy is getting frustrated so he roams to make some impact. That is usually the nail to the coffin. The hardest enemy is the one that can maintain high CS and lane presance through laning phase.
Funny thing is when your entire team tilts because they dont see what is happening on the map, and even when 0/0/0 against a 5/0 mid because he roams 100% of the time but im still 2k gold ahead because I had 5 plates and 80 cs over my opponent, my team cant stop pinging me because I simply don't answer to a roaming assassin + mia jungle with a control mage, rather I push mid and ward his path. I was a multiseason challenger on seasons 3~5, and the most difficult thing in lower elo is preventing your team tilting and turbo inting with mobility boots. My last game, just now, I got baited into getting armor runes against a lillia mid (zed was jungle). I won mid, my botlane won hard, my karthus jungle was strong, but my top lane lost so hard that the other top laner just ran it down and 1v9 the entire game. Games are mostly decided on whoever has a smurf on a hard carry champion against a normal player. 99% of the times someone loses hard and quit or just sell his itens and good games are hard to come by.
I noticed something- say I’m playing mid and dominating. Before I myself can say mid dif, enemy mid will say jung diff or top dif and find a way to blame someone else. Rather than acknowledging they are losing mid because they are getting outplayed. Lol
I win the lane like 90% of the times, especially against assassins, it is not hard at all using your guides. But then what? Games still feel like a coin-flip, 50/50. I push side lanes, avoid most of the teamfights, use dragons to take a tower or two and try to think from enemies perspective yet I still can't win more than like 55% of the times and I am stuck in Gold despite that winrate :/ As for enemy perspective... There are none there, guys just randomly pop up out of nowhere and do strange stuff whenever they feel like it, much like me probably XD
i feel you, bro. @Phantump is right when he says that consistency is key. Mid game shouldn't be hard macro wise: just get push, and ward the paths to objectives or to your strong side (the winning side), if you are winning and setting deep vision is better.
You still have to teamfight for soul / nash / elder An op strat you can do when an objective occurs is, instead of splitpushing on the other side of the map, to simply splitpush mid. People struggle to react to that in master and below
Play 1 or 2 champs, play for ressources not kills, try to understand what you could have done everytime something goes wrong, check and optimize your settings, learn to quick level up, learn to tether, improve on jgl tracking, intention reading and map awareness. Improve your ping clarity / communication. Improve reading ally intentions. Learn matching recall with your allies / map pressuring with your allies. Improve csing. Improve your slow pushing. Improve at preventing / surviving dives. Improve at making a gameplan. Improve at following it. Improve at finding a win con. Improve at making it happen. Improve at identifying threats in skirmishes / teamfights. If you are gold, you certainly don’t have great fundamentals. You can keep improving on it for a very long time. You don’t need to improve on all on them. You can tackle them one by one, there is no limit in your ability to improve at a particular fundamentals. For example "fast lvl up": if you were as good as a challenger in abusing level ups to get kill opportunities, you would get multiple kills with that single mechanic every game and you would definitely not be gold, even with bad csing. You should not try to learn to much stuff at once, focus on a single fundamental / advice for multiple games until it becomes automatic, or at least simple to apply, then you can look for another thing to improve on / learn.
I just don't understand when to start roaming. I've seen challenger level players say "If you're vex, just start roaming once you hit level 6". Well what about at my skill level, where a swain walks up to me and gives me a kill every 2 minutes? Why would I go anywhere when I can get fed right here? Even if this is not the case, I don't know where to roam to. I never see opponents pushed into the tower, with my team sitting ready to all in once I come from behind. My teammates start backing as soon as they see me comming.
Keep in mind that when you don't follow the bad roam, your low elo team will flame you because they have a way lower understanding of the game than you do. I've consumed Content on now to improve my game play to a ridiculous amount, and my ability to play League has improved drastically. Consistent great CSing. Typically a good KDR. I stomp my lanes more than I lose them. And I've even cleaned up my toxicity as a result. The only thing I haven't seen a significant improvement on is my win rate sadly. I'm having a really hard time cracking that particular code on how I can take my good performance and turn it into 1v9ing. Its not every game that I have a team filled with flamers, ragers and feeders. But it's often enough that it actually makes an impact. Which is a shame because I've realized just how little game awareness low ELO players have. It's like they don't have the maturity either to recognize when someone other than themselves is the win condition and all they have to do is take a breath and relax... Sometimes, I get absolutely dumped on. And it's easy to give into that helpless feeling that the game is over because I failed, but one of the most refreshing feelings is opening up the scoreboard and seeing that MF bot is 4/0 with 90 CS or that top trundle is 3/1 with 3 platings. That perspective has kept me from falling down rabbit holes that take what are easy wins and turns them into crushing defeats.
Tip for low elo: Just mute chat. Do it every game. Especially in low elo, pings dont really matter that much either. After that play a couple hundred of games each season to improve the fundamentals even more.
I remember when I do the last thing when I play Varus (on hit) vs Kata with Heartsteel she roam early and get kills but i get more cs and plates, so I reach my powerspikes earlier and easy kill her its real work
5:37 you get ganked. Why are you hovering the side of the river with no vision ? I'm guessing you're the one who warded the ramp which is correct but if you don't know why you're warding it's usually cause you wanna know which side he'll be coming from for SURE, so warding ramp and hovering botside river getting mind controlled by a trade is a huge misplay.. You're jungler is also top side so in a perfect world he may even be able to w over blue wall and turn the fight into a positive outcome.
They never show this tips, when the enemy is not doing any mistake. We want to know how to get this things when the enemy is doing the same things that u said.
Yeah and I am playing Xerath vs. INSERT HERE ANY ASSASSIN, which roams bot or top and gets kills despite me pinging and warning them about roams in the early game. The only thing that I can do is crash waves mid, if I roam with no vision, I die.
Kinda hate how common smudging is. Most of the tips are literally “low tier game players make mistakes and since WE are high tier, THEY are easy to get gold lead on” lol
