I don't know if you agree, but I think rallying is, in this computerised day and age, one of the rare motorsports that is, or at least feels raw, up close and personal.
Always felt that Rally Racing was the ultimate racing challenge for drivers. The skill required to race these courses, in all weather conditions, at breakneck speeds...Just amazing.

Best Motorsport video I’ve ever had the thrill of watching. First rate editing and sound. Your videographers are amazing and I thank them for allowing you to use their breathtaking work to show the rest of us what true skill and risks these great teams represent. WRC could be so much bigger in the US. It deserves to be. These drivers and cars are maybe too sophisticated for American interests, but they make NASCAR look like a bunch sissies.
Today’s nascar is nothing like what ituse to be. And nascar isn’t as big as it use to be. You’re just another slow loser that hates America bc we’re the best country to ever exist

Since rally racing became really popular in the 60s, horsepower has more than tripled and AWD has become the norm, with a corresponding increase in speed, yet the spectators still stand in the same places they did in the 60s. It's only a matter of time until there is a real disaster.
@@forbeshutton5487 Agreed. I have seen the videos where fans stand shoulder to shoulder, 2 to 3, deep lining the edges of the roadway. These people are the worst type of fans, selfish and foolish. They don’t care how hard they make it on the driver, just as long as they get their thrill of a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 miles an hour inches from them.

A lot of the "stable-ness" you see is the driver's talent and reactions. But the car's are more stable now.
@@javinskinner2766 of course its in the end the driver who keep it under control. But i dont think this kind or driving style would work in anything else then a WRC car.
@@1AngryPanda It depends on how you define "work" if by work you mean quick then no it wouldn't because the car isn't setup for that particular type of motorsport and if it was on a paved surface the tire wear would be a lot more vs the other drivers and cars. But if you define it as the ability to, then of course it would work but most likely it wouldn't be very quick

Controlling understeer is a lot easier than controlling oversteer though.
It amazes me how strong the facias are on these modern rally cars. 20 years ago, many of these strikes would've seen entire panels flying off.
