I planned your adventure FOR YOU! Just sit back relax and enjoy (maybe jot down some notes) share this video with someone, if you know they are going to Northern Vietnam for a motorbike adventure! Thanks guys
Great video, I like your storytelling style! It seems the Northern Vietnam trip is one of your most memorable journey since there are many videos about this on your channel! 😇🤪
@@TomeyTran hi there! Well, considering we ONLY lived in Hanoi while we were in Vietnam (for 3 months)...YUP! But do plan to go back and visit other areas! Thank you for watching....! 😊
Hey Guys, got a Thailand question for you. I am planning a first time trip for my folks (70s) to Thailand. Thinking 3 or 4 days in BKK for the usual spots (Wat Arun, Grand Palace, Maybe a floating market, Chatuchak market etc). For a beach spot, trying to decide between Pattaya (closer to BKK but reading it can be "shady" and rated R), Phuket has become quite crowded and expensive apparently, Krabi (never been so cant say..) or Koh Samui.... what are your thoughts? thank you!
Hi there! Great question! BKK has beautiful temples, but it can be HOT.... just make sure to hydrate!! As for beaches.....Yes, Pattaya IS close to BKK, and if I'd have to compare Pattaya beach to Jomtien for your folks, no question, it would be Jomtien. I think there's lots to do here and we see more families here. Pattaya Beach area is a bit more of a party scene and if you're looking for "R" rated you'll find it! Keep in mind Pattaya or Jomtien isn't white sand beach.....BUT koh Larn (is a short 30 min/easy ferry ride away) that has white sandy beach and beautiful teal water. You can always DM me if you have more questions. Never been to krabi or samui so can't recommend 👍
@annettearellano9482 Canada.... we brought it from home. We've since learned after spending 6 months in Vietnam it's basically illegal to drive in Vietnam (regardless of the IDP the police ask for while driving the Hai Giang loop, or anywhere) unless it's obtained in Vietnam and it's in Vietnamese (so it's difficult for foreigners to get) BUT honestly, it doesn't stop people from riding! 👍
@annettearellano9482 hahaha..... funny you laugh, but many people carry a "dummy" wallet with minimal money in it so it looks like that's all you have to offer! Sad, but true. BUT, saying that, we showed our IDP and that's all they wanted, zero money! 👍
@ ok I guess it’s worth it to get the license. Last time I was there I got lucky and never got pulled over. Don’t think I’ll be that lucky this time around.

@@TomeyTran...... and thanks for sharing! 👍 😊
You both are very adventurous
No Cheryl!......we love new adventures 😍
I wonder if it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat from the states or buy one in Vietnam. Thanks for the tips at the end of the video.
Hi there! If you don't want the bulk in your luggage, you could just buy one there, no problem! Thank you for watching! 😊

Where did you get your international license with motorcycle designation from?

@ so how much bribe money should I offer each time I’m pulled over haha
