Good to see you again! It was in Southern Sweden, don't remember the name of the place anymore. Never found a place to practice though, so I devoted myself to photography🙂
Hey! Øyvind. Yes, I do remember. I have great memories of Orreviks Gård. Combining nature awareness with permaculture worked really well. :) 12years ago, doesn't time fly?
@@LearnPermaculture Wow! 12 years! Orrevik gård, I forgot that name. Thanks🙂 Good to se you doing well. I got good contact with photographer Mike Smith, he lives in Wales too. There are several photographers named Mike Smith, another more famous bird photographer, but I think you can find Mike Smith from Wales. Maybe he lives in your proximity? Then you could maybe do something together? He's not famous, but very clever!
@@bioliv1 Wales is a bit of a journey from Cornwall because by road you have to go the long way around. A ferry from North Devon would shorten the journey considerably. Yes, I imagine there are a few Mike Smiths around, Blacksmithing was a popular job a couple of hundred years ago. Perhaps it will be again...
@@LearnPermaculture Oh, I didn't think about Smith was a shortening for blacksmith🙂 So you live in Cornwall, then I remembered wrong. Yes, my ancestors were blacksmiths, and because of their skills they were hired as wagon makers in the US. Yes, we probably have take up again that skill by time, but until then I devote my time to photography. I feel awareness about learning making printed photo books, so that maybe some can survive the collapse of the Internet. My goal is to arise awareness of our culture and history, here is a lot that was forgotten. I even found several forgotten earth cabins where people lived along this river here just 150 years ago, I've rediscovered the history of the forgotten mill here, and much more. Anyway, if I had the skills of Mike Smith, then it would all have been so much more easy. I will watch and promote your videos the best I can, now as I stumbled upon you again.
@@bioliv1 Thank you! Yes, photography is a great gift, especially for sharing important knowledge. Books too are very precious - we've had them easily available for just a few decades and soon paper books may become a thing of the past. I much prefer them to digital books though as I don't need electricity or an internet connection to read them...
Thank you! I've heard this term everywhere and didn't know what it meant. Excited to learn more
what a 'precious stone'....
