This is just wonderful. I have an Outlander, which is a SUV so we know it's not an offroader but I still love it. What I would love even more is to try the big brother L200 on an off road rampage. My next car might be the L200. Have fun.

Both trucks are great! They make around 170 horsepower. You don't need these 400 horsepower fuel hungry V8s which Americans are obsessed. Yes, V8s sound great and have lots of power but these 4 bangers can do the job without any problem!

Here in Mew Zealand we call this model of Hilux the sheep shagger because they are shit on and off road. Stick to the model pre-2004 and you should be walking through this stuff

Claro que o condutor da L200 se faz ao percurso mais devagar porque sabe que tem um carro pior. Mas o da Hilux é tudo à bruta, logo o pior condutor, não escolhe os percursos, farta-se de atascar e ainda assim consegue melhores tempos. O objectivo do vídeo é demonstrar que a L200 ganha, mas os factos dizem o contrário :-)

Si saben analizar, claramente GANA la L200. Con gomas no aptas para el barro, demostró ser mejor que la Hilux con BF Goodrich All Terrain. Mitsubishi power!
Pas mal la video mais ca ces de la rigolade mdrr amener vos deux pick up en franchissement il iront pas loin, et pis vous faitr même pas marche le différentiel, fin bref le 4x4 ces de la technique pas du bourinage, mais sinon ces drol 😁
je vous invite à regarder les diverses vidéos de la chaine.. le franchissement avec de réelles difficultés, nous le connaissons... Là il s'avère que c'était 2 pick-up d'origine avec des pneus routes dans un terrain bien gras.... et il était assez marrant de les confronter sans autre prétention... les plus de 5 millions de vues en ce mois de MAI 2020 sont assez épatants je le concède ;-)

But despite all that the Hilux gets all challenges done. imagine if it was the top of the Line Hilux, it would piss all over the Mitsu. L200 has been the best value pickup for a long time and even the newest models are some amazing trucks. hilux are a close second but just way too expensive

Já fiz com a triton e com a Hilux, ela é instável no asfalto, e na terra, todos sabem que ela 'não gosta' de se sujar...

lol, the Hilux driver pretty much sucks. The L200 driver, did much better, cause he drives slower, and looks where he drives! Even tho he had street tires. The Hilux has BF Goodrich tires, All-Terrain!?!?! I Drive a Toyota Land-Cruiser, a 3-doors with also BF All-Terrain. I also drive slower, and look where i drive. I usually get through anything, without getting stuck or standing still. A Pick-up has no weight in the back, that's not good in mud. Ad some weight inn it.
I see, you're more of a extreme off road enthusiast who likes power under the hood. You have more fun "mudding" around. Everyone has his own flavour. Mine is adventure in the wild and testing my driving skills with standard equipped off road vehicle. But I disagree about needing a lot a power to go through a bog. A winch will get you out also.
love the hilus but i take the l200 anyday over the hylus, old hilux were much better, mitsubishi makes the best offroading vehicles since the rally lancer evolution , montero-pajero, to the l200, nobody match mitsus when it comes to offraad, toyota land cruisers, nissan patrol , jeep willis suzuki samurai, rovers are good but the montero is better

L200 for sure. Even L200 only used an oldschool engine 4D56T compared to hilux 1KD/2KD, but L200 has a better lower gear transmission.
