me too. Unfortunately, it started double clicking 2 years later and i changed into G402. That thing lasted me for 5 years before i finally settle down with my Superlight. Would love to try the DA line up again if Razer decides to roll out a V3 Pro or smth.
@@scarletvan4749 the optical switch gets rid of the double clicking now but it isn't as clicky as mechanical switch though, the deathadders now have that except for the DA hyperspeed X.
I have almost every modern wireless mouse from the hati s to starlight to g pro. For some reason though i still main and always come back to the Basilisk Ultimate. Such a good shape and i dont mind the heavier weight, i play on a medium/high sense so the weight makes my shots steady especially on a skypad. Basilisk Ultimate is my all time favorite mouse. Great review once again Fresh 👌🏽
Did you feel like you had to bump up your sens a lot to get good with the basilisk or just a little? Thinking about switching back to it and my sens is low af rn
Great video as always! I was super surprised when you said you played well with the basilisk, might need to look into one maybe second hand for cheap. The Deatheadder on the other hand would be great with an LR44 mod I bet which would help with the weight balance, running one in my Orochi and it's running and feeling great!
When you say that people don't try a whole lot of mice it is because those people are mentally healthy. People like us that watch these videos and are on r/mousereviews are all addicts. We all need to graduate to r/mousereviewsanonymous. Edit: I wanted to add all jokes aside: it is really nice to see that you actually take time to review mice like this. basilisk essential was my first ever gaming mouse, been wanting to get the ultimate version but with the new g303 coming out i think i need to revise my choice lol
For a long session of gaming which one would you get? Orochi , the new deathadder or rog keris wireless? Been looking for a mouse that will actually survive in a long run lol. Thanks and nice review as always!
I have the Orochi V2 and I do love the overall performance but I find it a bit hard to handle in some cases. It’s a great shape but somewhat difficult for me to grasp consistently for long sessions. I’ve just ordered the DeathAdder V2 because it essentially has the internals of the Orochi (including the fantastic AA/AAA feature which I love far more than internal rechargeable batteries), the removable top shell, the same great mechanical switches, and the same plastic texture that I also like about the Orochi V2. I’m keeping both. One as a comfortable ergonomic shape for long sessions, and one to switch to when I need faster response and want something lighter. I’ll think about them like cousins.
I got the DA as my gaming laptop mouse (had issues with loose shell on my 1st copy, but 2nd is all good) already have the V2 and V2 Pro for 2 PCs in the house. I enjoy and aim very well with this shape despite what others say that its bad for aim etc etc... I much prefer it over something like a Viper/Ultimate which ive tried. I added some grip tape to my V2 X as I didn't like the coating and pretty much put grip tape on all my mice unless they are built in like on the other DAs.
I actually play best on the Basilisk v3 Hyperspeed out of all my mouses lol. They really messed up with the switches, after a while it starts to feel creaky. When I swapped them with Kailh 8, it was night and day difference.
how do u feel about the non detachable dpi side button on the basilisk v3? i dont even know what its supposed to do by default; yes, you can customize it, but what was it supposed to do by default? my main gripe with this button is that it gets in the way of my thumb; like wtf?? i get a thumb rest but have a gigantic side button in the way???
@@FreshReviewsYT I purchased the Ultimate with charge. I hope the battery lasts because some ppl complained that the battery died after 1 year and others after 1 month. For me if it lasts 1 year it's fine! Do you know if the mouse should be 24hrs on the charge or only when charging
@@FreshReviewsYT I already got it! It was my first professional mouse ever, and I couldn't imagine that better! Everything with this mouse is amazing, the delicacy of the box, the colors customization, the weight, the buttons, the grip, the scroll, the movement, the quality. It just blew my mind!

@@FreshReviewsYT I can't wait for the Endgame Gear XM1r Mini! I've been using G102 for few years, will this new deathadder shape fit my palms? I've never used a Razer mouse before, so not sure if I Can go ahead with the deathadder
Hey dude, if you like the g102, definitely checkout the “razer orochi v2”. It has a similar but even better shape, wireless and lightweight. It almost has the same specs of the deathadder v2x but in another shape.
How would you compare the Deathadder V2 X Hyperspeed to the Pulsar Xlite Wireless? It's clear to me that the Deathadder is much heavier (at least 26 grams heavier given the lightest AAA battery) but it is much more accessible to purchase in stores and $15 cheaper. To me the Xlite seems very much like a restrained Deathadder ergo shape. All in all, people may appreciate the replaceable battery, solid shell design, HyperSpeed wireless, and Bluetooth on the Deathadder. Thoughts on gameplay differences?
The deathadder shape is very unique. The pulsar is more akin to the zowie ec2. It is more narrow and more maneuverable than the deathadder. If you love the deathadder shape I’d def try the hyper speed though. I personally play much better on the pulsar
