    Life doesn’t give second chances. My wife divorced me. Once they give up on you and, worse, fall for someone else, it’s over. Then it’s years of split custody.
    Yes, I’d give anything for a second chance. And no, I wouldn’t want to be with her. I’d make sure whomever I was with truly cared about me. I’ve wasted my life. It’s a terrible feeling.
    btw, the grass wasn’t greener for her.

    • @nathanielrobles3284
      @nathanielrobles3284 Рік тому +6

      Life does give second chances but not to everything or maybe not this lifetime. I'm sorry for your loss but remember whenever a door closes, another one opens. Not all 2nd chances should be the same as the 1st. Sometimes it comes different that we don't even recognize it as another chance.

    • @dwightsmith4641
      @dwightsmith4641 Рік тому

      50% of all 1st marriages end in divorce. 2nd 65% and 3rd 78%. Most women in the current dating pool are only chasing the top 10% of men and only the top 5% are desired because they have the 666 (6 foot, 6 figure salary, 6 pack abs). So 10% of men get all the action of all the 18-28 year old women. At 28 these women learn that their market value is lower than they assumed because the top 10% will sleep with but won’t enter long term plan. These 28 year women can not pair bond because of body count, and they settle for beta bucks which they divorce after the second or third kid so they can sponge off him while they try to find a 5% man. Sometimes the plan backfires, and beta goes to jail for non support, becomes an alcoholic, becomes one the 38,000 men who self delete, becomes a homeless man, or in rare cases goes to someplace like Thailand or the Philippines to try for some semblance of a life. 33% of women are taking head meds. 38% of women are less happy than the were in 1966. One article after another is written in women’s magazines asking where have all the good men gone. 88% of all divorces are filed for by women.
      Boys are treated terrible in grade school because they can’t sit still like girls can according to their women’s studies teachers. Boys parents are told they must put the boy on Ritalin to calm him down. God forbid a boy asks a girl to a dance who is not interested. Boys are told that they are all just grapeists and predators. Maybe he gets through high school without being expelled but if he is 90% boy he might as well not be around according to most the female population unless they can use him to do something for them. If he goes to work he had better avoid all contact with women if he doesn’t want to get me-too-ed like his boss was for trying to train a woman how to use a computer program. Let’s say he works for 12 years and gets his life in order. Then he has his choice of 28 year old women, but he knows how that will end because his brother, uncle, father etc. Maybe he avoids the trap. So now we have the lowest marriage rate in the US since 1865, and we have a population growth of 1.6. You need 2.2 just to stay even, otherwise your nation dies. All of this is in a book called Men On Strike by Dr. Helen Smith. (No relation).

    • @andrey22
      @andrey22 Рік тому +19

      Yeah, it's a comfort movie because it's a movie made in 2006, about 2006 people written by people living in 2006. It's a little time capsule and you can feel that none of the post 2008 recession depression has kicked in. No cynicism, no meta levels of irony, no quips, no digging the past for "proven and mature IP's". Hell, even the movie doesn't look like it has all colour drained from it.

    • @bratSebastian
      @bratSebastian Рік тому +2

      Now that movie would be politically incorrect. Actually it's already been back then, because the true moral of the story is that if you could turn around your thinking and instead of imagining how could your life develop fantastically if you just didn't have children and stay young and free of responsibilities, imagine yourself loosing your family now because what you took for something that has ruined your life is probably because you didn't commit to it properly and that's why is a burden instead of enjoyment. If you're not satisfied with having a wife and children then you're probably doing a lot of wrong things as a bad husband and father. I don't say all the blame is on men, but it's inapropriate to follow the footsteps of our first father Adam to blame a woman for his deeds.
