I ended up leaving with most people hating me and including all my friends. Total waste of 7 years in school. I know I'm not the only one, but it just stings because of how I went from having a lot of friends, connections, social clubs to absolutely nothing towards the very the end of my high school. I hated it, and want to forget about it. I never mention high school because I get minor anxiety from it.

It sort of contributed to a period of depression following the months after graduation for me. Those "ex" friends were connected to other mutual ones so it really felt isolating. There were a few good friends I still keep in touch with but they go to separate colleges now. But look at it as something positive, you weed out and remove who wasn't a true friend

This is not one of the thousands of coming of age/rom-coms we have all seen. A surprisingly good script, different enough for you stay engaged and avoid the grumble, "Yeah, I've seen this before!" Plus, a very good ending without being a cliche.
