- This video is part of a series where we attempt to find the best pizza in Walt Disney World. PizzeRizzo is a controversial conversation among Disney fans. Some love it and others don't feel Rizzo the Rat is honoring his Italian roots (his heritage is in question). For those that don't know, PizzeRizzo is a quick service restaurant located in Muppets Courtyard at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Being in Muppets Courtyard, this is obviously a Muppets themed restaurant where Rizzo the Rat takes on the responsibilities of Head Chef. This was the next stop on our journey to find the best pizza in Walt Disney World and we decided to also spotlight other menu items besides the pizza. While we've eaten here on previous crawls, and can attest to the atmosphere being on point, we hadn't ever experienced Rizzo's famous Pizza and not-so authentic Italian cuisine. From classic fresh made Personal Pizzas, Antipasto Salads, in-house made Caesar Dressing and a memorable Pizza Cookie, we see if PizzeRizzo can claim the title of best Disney Pizza east of the Mississippi.

You forgot to mention that the exterior neon sign intentionally malfunctions, changing "The City's Top Rated pizza" to "it's Rat Pizza".

We've been waiting for this video! 😁 We've not yet dined at PizzeRizzo, but we've always wanted to. When it comes to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and - for that matter - all Disney-adjacent media in general, the Muppets are for us what Star Wars is for the majority. We grew up on the Muppet Show and the Muppet movies and Rizzo the Rat (tragically retired as a character in 2018) is one of our all-time favorites in the pack! This is actually the first time that I've heard tell of anyone calling it their favorite pizza place in WDW, as we've mostly heard the exact opposite 😂 Genuinely pleased to hear that the pizza came in at a seven for you, Jay! We'd have to dine there eventually just for the "Muppety" experience, but it's that much more appealing as an option knowing that the food isn't outright awful. The cookie netting a seven(s) is another mark in Rizzo's favor! Always appreciate y'all's honest take! ✨
Wish you guys were here because we definitely could've used your expertise for the Easter Eggs. There are actually a lot of locals that love this restaurant. While the pizza was just okay in my opinion, everything else was pretty good. We also hear the meatball subs are great. With your history you guys need to go here. The atmosphere is great and Rizzo seems to be doing well in his retirement as an Italian Chef.

I love the mob movie music you guys played in the start. I have been waiting for you guys to go to Pizze Rizzo. The pizza reminds me of the Pizza Hut to go. Were you get the small individual pizza. Not the greatest pizza in the world, but also pretty satisfying. That cookie looks awesome. I also heard there meatball subs are awesome.
Thank you 😃. That's actually a great comparison. I definitely don't view this as great pizza but I think it's a solid fun option. The cookie and antipasto were the stars here. I was actually disappointed we didn't get the meatball sub but it's definitely something to look forward to on our next visit.
Yay the return of the pizza quest! Of course I love the Muppets but I have not eaten here yet. I do think the theming is the star. Not big on doughy pizza myself. Honestly I was expecting lower scores based on what I have heard so it’s nice to hear you guys think its edible 😂 The pizza cookie is too cute.
The pizza cookie and antipasto were the highlights here. Definitely don't think it deserves the hate. I think sometimes people need to measure their expectations when a restaurant promotes itself as rat pizza 😆. As Muppets fans you guys need to go! Excited to try more Disney Pizza 😃.
I’m not gonna lie pizza Rizzo is probably one of my favorite quick service at that park for various reasons. is it my favorite pizza at Disney? No, but I actually like it. I also love going upstairs on a hot summer day sitting with my pizza in the dance room and just enjoying some air-conditioning.

Via Napoli the best by far. Nothing compares. Thanks for all the great food vids. Wifey and I are Disney foodies also. I believe over the years we have been to probably 95% of all Disney restaurants. Most good, some great, some outstanding and some crap 😂😂Keep the vids coming...
Of course, thanks for watching 😃. We agree, Via Napoli is the best but we're hoping to find a hidden gem for a come from behind victory! I can agree with your assessment on Disney Dining. Some of the best food in the world, some okay and certainly some questionable 😆. My problem is I just love food so I enjoy the crap maybe more than I should.
No Disney pizza can match a NY pizza. 😋

The last time I visited this location, it was still Pizza Planet. It doesn't look as bad as the negative hype made it out to be.

As a Sicilian Queens Girl, I do not like Disney's red sauce. It's just yuck... I had it at Mama Melrose, Tony's Town Square and a few other places because I'm a gluten for punishment 😂 I haven't tried PizzaRizzo though.
I think it's all the same unfortunately 😆. Definitely has that tin can taste although I don't hate the sauce. Certainly no where near NY Italian level. Unfortunately, I think we've all been spoiled by our heritage. I'm also, partially, Sicilian.

We haven't been. There to that park since 2016 the others yes but it looks so diffent. It was pizza planet when we ate there and it was meeeh sorry for all the comments that's when you know I'm watching from. My phone not tv😉
Oh wow- it's changed so much! First time we went was in 2017 and it was a half day park, now you could spend days doing everything with the addition of Toy Story Land and Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Don't be sorry, we appreciate the support :)

I literally brought up Chicago Deep Dish to Sam today. Have yet to try but hopefully soon! Unfortunately, we haven't found a superior Florida slice. Some okay slices but nothing NY level.

The pizza was definitely the weakest offering. All the other food and the atmosphere was solid though.
This pizza is atrocious. I've had better pizzas in my school lunches. An inch of crust, then a dollop of cheese and five pepperonis does not a pizza make. Disney needs to call Pies For The People in NY and bring in some real quality NY pizza. BADLY.
