Haha- Exene on "vocals" for "Light My Fire"? Never heard that before. Cool Bob riffs.
I think I saw them in Ann Arbor a few days later. Bob was wearing overhauls without a shirt underneath.
Paul's last comment - "Beautiful, Bob." It was. They played a tight set the night before, opening for X at the Newport. But I enjoyed this loose, rambling night better at Staches with about 40 or 50 people, tops.
Holy Sh-t Are they plastered...well then...thanks for uploading Ghost!
Sounds pretty good to me!
great post!! "hotter than a urinary tract infection"
RIP Bob. Love that version of Johnny's gonna die!
No more the moon is always a sign of shenanigans
Bob's pretty sharp here.
Not the only train wreck that ever happened in Ohio.
Too professional for me.
Terrible live. My favorite studio band except for a few great live songs like Johnny's Gonna Die.
except at home. 81 and 86 7th street entry shows were unreal. They were playing with "rivals" Husker Du at the 81 show and they absolutely destroy. great video/audio.
if you need good takes on Let It Be era, Live at Maxwells is legit. hit and miss. this, a miss.
Well...either INCREDIBLE live or like you said terrible. You were getting one or the other.
