Landscape Institute Members EGM 30 minute report

The reason for the EGM was to achieve truth and reconciliation concerning the removal of President Elect Brodie McAllister by the Board of Trustees of the Landscape Institute. This is leading to many other questions being asked about the leadership of the LI.
The Landscape Institute Members EGM was held on 27th June 2023 at the Alan Baxter Gallery in Cowcross Street. It was requisitioned by 140 senior members, including 7 Past Presidents of the Landscape Institute. The motion was passed unanimously and is binding on the Board of Trustees of the LI: "We move that steps are taken towards establishing the truth and proper reconciliation with regard to matters of governance leading to the removal of the President-Elect in June 2022. Thus, within 30 days of the EGM, the process and evidence resultant in his removal would be examined by an independent reviewer. The independent reviewer would be appointed by mutual agreement (for instance, the Institute of Arbitrator’s process)."
