Flying On The Flyover On The R188

The second decade of the 21St. century has seen the introduction of the R188 Tech Train for the IRT. The R188 seen here was passing 111th St. northbound over the flyover, heading towards Main St. As it ascends, the tracks appear to be going towards the sky. The Kawasaki-built R188's and rebuilt R142A/R188 will be used for CBTC when it goes in effect on the line.
