I’m obsessing over your videos because I’m considering moving to Chicago, but I know NOTHING about it!! 😩🙈 Thank you for the detailed content, keep it coming!
Thank you for this video! Pre-pandemic, Wicker Park was becoming one of my favorite areas in Chicago to explore. While in the mid 2000’s, I attended college in River North and witnessed its transformation, and loved being in the area. My brother use to tell me about Wicker Park in the early 2010’s and how I should check it out. By the time I did, it was always flooded with people as it was now the new hot area of the city.
Wicker Park was so much fun in the late 90s early 2000s. Miss hanging out around the 6 corner area of north, Milwaukee, and damen. Use to love going to empire liquors and the crocodile to drink and dance.
It's 1-if the best Neighborhoods in the city. I lived there for over 12-years. I lived down the street from the B&B on the street Wicker Park. It wasn't a B & B when I lived there. It's changed quite a bit-but still a great Neighborhood. Enjoy...
Thanks for mentioning, an older senior citizen, can find a home in Wicker Park,...by the way I grew up in Wicker Park, 1300 north Hoyne block.... Thanks for the tour, everything has changed since my footprints walked the fabulous streets. From a senior citizen, stuck in Denver Co.
Very nice. Sounds like a must when visiting Chicago. Food looks delicious ! Thanks for the recommendations on coffee shops. I love small personal and cool Vibe coffee shops.
I was raised and lived in Chicago (Oak Park) for 45 years. 3 years ago I relocated to Santa Fe New Mexico. I miss the food and my friends the most. Wicker Park is one of my favorite neighborhoods too and I really had fun walking the 606. I am a content creator as well and I hope maybe one day I could come back and film my home city. Thank you for sharing, Peace ✌
Funny, I lived in Oak Park (Home street) moved to Wicker Park. Got there-right before it Gentrified, sold fir a Ridiculous amount of $$$, Now I live out South in the Beverly Neighborhood. More space and a great Neighborhood as well...
I lived there when I was a kid in the 50's. My grandfather bought a two flat on LeMoyne Street a half block from Wicker Park from movie producer Mike Todd who was married to Liz Taylor.

Hell yeah, amazing job with all of these Chicago videos. So informative, helpful and visually beautiful. I’m moving to Chicago in august from Los Angeles, and wicker park is at the top of my list for neighborhoods. Especially since I’m an artist and I love the artsy feel of wicker park. I would say it may be similar to Echo Park in Los Angeles. I know it’s small and located next to bucktown, so I see wicker park / bucktown as twin neighborhoods similar to Silver Lake and Echo Park. Much love, these videos are incredible & love your ENERGY ⚡️✨

Would you do a video on the Pilsen Neighborhood. Thank you again for making some awesome informative and entertaining videos of the neighborhoods of Chicago.
I grew up in Lincoln Park when it was a bad neighborhood, It wasn't for me, and you and I can discuss the specifics as an outline for a video about how Lincoln Park became a "good" neighborhood. Not what I'm talking about today. It would be really good for you to do a dive into the four major neighborhoods of Edgewater as part of your "where to live" posts: There are four major "neigborhoods:" Edgewater Glen (and north where we live), Andersonville, Uptown, and Lakewood-Balmoral. I'm certain the Alderman or his office will give you a lot to chew on. According to the Census MSA, even though we're half a block or less from Devon, Rogers Park, across the street, is in another demographic zone.
My son lives one block south of Division, off of Hoyne (technically Ukrainian Village) and we have visited him there for extended stays many times - LOVE WP/UKV area!!!!

I'm thinking of moving to Chicago and so I wanna know more about how the main streets look (to get a better gauge on the vibe), what the walk to bars and the train is like, and what the pros and cons are of each neighborhood. Just generally what to expect and why one might want to live (or not live there) over other neighborhoods. That's a lot to request 😆... but even just a super quick 1-2 min add-on w/ information specifically for potentials transplants would be SO great! Love it, thanks so much for these vids!
Omg Luis!! You're one part of the video showed a building with 'The People's Gas Light and Coke Company'. My father worked there from 1950 to 1985 when he retired.
